Starejši so zaradi svojih fizioloških sprememb in jemanja večjega števila različnih zdravil še toliko bolj izpostavljeni različnim napakam in posledično poškodbam. Najbolje so bile ocenjene naslednje dimenzije: povratne informacije in komunikacija o napakah, namestitev in premestitve stanovalcev, celokupno zaznavanje varnosti stanovalcev ter timsko delo.

The purpose of this study was to identify the characteristics and perception of resident safety culture in a nursing home from the view of nursing staff and to compare the obtained data with the results of hospital safety culture. Research methodology: The survey was conducted by Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality questionnaire, comprised of 12 dimensions of safety culture.
