Opis:Diplomski seminar je sestavljen iz dveh delov, in sicer iz teoretičnega in raziskovalnega dela. V teoretičnem delu podrobneje prikazujemo dva pojma, to sta vodenje in motivacija. Pri vodenju smo se osredotočili predvsem na spoznavanje različnih stilov in načinov vodenja ter se ukvarjali z vprašanjem, kako postati odličen vodja. V poglavju o motivaciji smo največ pozornosti namenili motivaciji zaposlenih ter ugotavljali, kakšno vlogo ima vodja pri motiviranju in spoznavali različne načine motiviranja ter motivacijske dejavnike. Vse omenjene in tudi ostale razložene pojme v teoretičnem delu smo povezali z raziskovalnim delom diplomskega seminarja, ki vsebuje rezultate anketnega vprašalnika. V njem so anketiranci ocenjevali stopnjo zadovoljstva z delovnim mestom, z odnosom z vodjo, njegovim stilom vodenja in načinom motiviranja, ki ga pri vodenju uporablja, ter podali odgovor na vprašanje, kaj jih pri delu najbolj motivira. Zaradi vse večjih sprememb v poslovnem svetu in odseva finančne krize je za podjetja zelo pomembno, da skušajo v kar največji meri izkoristiti človeške potenciale. Razvijanje potencialov zaposlenih v korist podjetja je naloga vodij, zato morajo čim bolje poznati svoje podrejene in imeti z njimi dobre odnose. Motivacija in zadovoljstvo zaposlenih na delovnem mestu sta najpomembnejša elementa, ki sta potrebna za to, da bodo zaposleni dobro opravljali svoje delo in si prizadevali za doseganje zastavljenih ciljev v korist podjetja. Ker pa vseh zaposlenih ne motivirajo enaki motivacijski dejavniki, je naloga vodij ugotoviti, kaj motivira vsakega posameznika, ter jim prilagoditi načine motiviranja tako, da bodo zaposleni na delovnem mestu zadovoljni. Naloga vodje je prilagoditi tudi stil vodenja tako, da ga bodo zaposleni ocenjevali kot dobrega, z njimi mora imeti dvosmerno komunikacijo ter jim nuditi povratne informacije in se na ta način skupno truditi za doseganje dobrih delovnih rezultatov. V diplomskem seminarju smo prišli do ugotovitev, da je splošno zadovoljstvo zaposlenih v banki X ter njihovo zadovoljstvo z vodjem in njegovim stilom vodenja na visoki ravni. To se kaže predvsem pri odgovoru na anketno vprašanje, kjer so zaposleni morali odgovoriti, ali menijo, da jih zna vodja primerno motivirati za delo, kjer je razvidna razmeroma visoka stopnja motiviranosti zaposlenih, ki je posledica delovnega zadovoljstva. Raziskava je prav tako pokazala, da ima največji pomen za motivacijo zaposlenih pri delu varnost zaposlitve, na drugem mestu so dobri odnosi s sodelavci in šele na tretjem višina plače. Vzrok takšnemu rezultatu je prav gotovo prisotnost vsesplošne gospodarske in finančne krize, zaradi katere je večina zaposlenih zadovoljna že, da zaposlitev imajo in da jo kljub trenutni situaciji obdržijo.

Naslov:INFLUENCE OF MANAGER'S LEADERSHIP STYLE ON MOTIVATION OF EMPLOYEES IN BANK X
Opis:Our thesis consists of two parts, namely the theoretical and research work. The theoretical part presents in detail the two concepts, these are leadership and motivation. When talking about leadership, we focused primarily on learning about different styles and ways of leading people. We were also dealing with the question how to become a great leader. In the next chapter, which talks about motivation, we focused on the motivation of employees and try to determine the role that a leader has to motivate his subordinates. In addition, our thesis also talks about motivational factors and different ways of motivating employees. All mentioned and also the other concepts, explained in the theoretical part, we linked to the research work of the thesis, which contains the results of a questionnaire. In it, the respondents evaluated the degree of their satisfaction with the workplace, the relationship with their leader, his leadership style and the methods of motivation that he uses in managing. The respondents also answered to the question, what is the most motivating for them at work. Due to major changes in the business world and the reflect of a financial crisis is very important for companies to seek the best possible use of human potential. Developing the potential of employees in favor of companies is a task that leaders have to accomplish. That is why they have to know well their subordinates and also have a good relationship with them. Motivation and employee satisfaction in the workplace are the most important elements that are needed to ensure that employees will be good at their job and that they will strive to achieve the objectives for the benefit of the company. However, all of the employees are not motivated by the same motivational factors. That is why it is for leaders to find out what motivates each individual and to adjust the motivational procedures in a way that employees will be satisfied at their workplace. The leader’s job is also to adapt his leading style so that it will be good evaluated by employees, he must have the two-way communication with them and has to provide them the feedback. The leader and his employees have to make a common effort to achieve good working results. In our thesis we have come to the conclusion that the overall satisfaction of employees in the bank X, and also their satisfaction with the leader and his leadership style are at a high level. This is reflected primarily in respond to a survey question where employees had to answer if their leader can motivate them in appropriate way. Here we can notice the relatively high level of motivation of employees as a result of their job satisfaction. The survey also showed that the job security has the greatest importance for employee motivation. In the second place are good relations with their colleagues, the height of a wage is only in the third place. The reason for this result is certainly the presence of widespread economic and financial crisis. Because of that employees are already satisfied with just having a job and retaining it in spite of the current situation.
