Title:USPEH UČENJA OSNOVNIH ELEMENTOV PLAVANJA PREDŠOLSKIH OTROK

Abstract:V diplomskem delu z naslovom Uspeh učenja osnovnih elementov plavanja predšolskih otrok smo ugotavljali znanje plavanja predšolskih otrok v sklopu enotedenskega tečaja. Naši cilji so bili, proučiti uspeh učenja osnovnih elementov plavanja, proučiti vlogo spola otrok pri učenju plavanja ter proučiti znanje plavanja pri predšolskih otrocih. Ocenjevali smo jih na začetku in na koncu plavalnega tečaja. V ocenjevalni lestvici je bilo šest osnovnih elementov plavanja: strah pred vodo, potop glave, gledanje pod vodo, dihanje pod vodo, plovnost in drsenje. Zanimalo nas je tudi, če je razlika med znanjem plavanjem plavanja glede na spol in kakšno je. Zajetih je bilo 7 vrtcev po Prlekiji. Vsa opazovanja in ocenjevanja otrok so potekala v Biotermah Mala Nedelja v maju 2012. V teoretičnem delu je predstavljen pomen plavanja, vpliv plavanja na motorični, funkcionalni in celostni razvoj otrok ter na zdravje otrok, možnosti za učenje plavanja v predšolskem obdobju ter pogoji za učenje plavanja. V empiričnem delu so podrobneje prikazani in analizirani rezultati ocenjevanja. Na podlagi rezultatov smo ugotovili, da so otroci pri vse elementih plavanja bili na koncu tečaja v povprečju za eno oceno boljši kot na začetku plavalnega tečaja, razen pri plovnosti, kjer je bilo napredovanje manjše.

Title:PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN'S SUCCESS IN LEARNING BASIC SWIMMING ELEMENTS
Abstract:In the diploma work titled Pre-school Children's Success in Learning Basic Swimming Elements we were assessing the knowledge of swimming of pre-school children within one week's course. Our goals were to examine closely the success of learning basic swimming elements, the impact of children's gender on learning to swim and the knowledge of swimming of pre-school children. We assessed children at the beginning and at the end of the swimming course. In the assessment chart there were six basic swimming elements: fear of water, head sinking, watching under water, breathing under water, navigability and slithering. We were also interested if there was a difference in knowing how to swim according to gender and what it was like. Seven kindergardens in Prlekija region were included. All observations and assessments of children took place in Bioterme Mala Nedelja in May 2012. Theoretical part introduces the importance of swimming, the impact of swimming on motorical, functional and holistic development of children, the possibilities for learning to swim in the pre-school period and the conditions for learning. The results of assessments are, in greater detail, presented and analised in the empirical part. According to results, we ascertained that at the end of the course children were one grade better in all swimming elements, except in navigability where progressing was smaller.
