Abstract:Tekmovanja iz znanja na različnih predmetnih področjih so odlična priložnost, da lahko dijaki poglobijo in razširijo znanje na določenem predmetnem področju. Da pa imajo dijaki to možnost, je osnovni predpogoj ustrezna kompetentnost učitelja, da jih lahko vodi in usmerja pri nastalih problemih. V diplomskem delu smo se posvetili predvsem matematičnim kompetencam, ki jih potrebuje učitelj kemije za pripravo dijakov na tekmovanja iz znanja kemije za Preglovo plaketo. Poskušali smo odgovoriti na vprašanje, katere matematične kompetence potrebuje učitelj. V nadaljevanju pa smo se osredotočili na to, kje in kdaj te kompetence pridobi oz. jih lahko poglablja.

Title:IMPORTANCE OF MATHEMATICAL COMPETENCES WHICH ARE NECESSARY FOR THE STUDENTS TO PREPARE ON THE COMPETITION IN CHEMISTRY
Abstract:Competitions of knowledge of different fields are good opportunities for the students to deepen their knowledge on a specific scientific field. To have this opportunity the main prerequisite is the ability of their teacher to impart knowledge, to lead and direct them with the problems they are dealing with. In this graduate work we have been concentrating mainly on mathematical competence, it is necessary for the teacher to prepare the students for competing in a chemistry competition to attain the Pregel award. We try to answer the question about which of the teacher's competence are most needed. Further we have focused on when and where the teacher can develop the required competence and how they can be expanded.
