Abstract:V našem diplomskem delu smo želeli z adsorpcijo na naravni in sintetični zeolit ter kelatni polimer odstraniti iz vode nikelj. Izhajali smo iz ˝Pravilnika o pitni vodi˝, kjer je določena mejna koncentracija niklja 0,02 mg/l. Cilj diplomske naloge je znižati vsebnost niklja pod to vrednost. V laboratoriju smo na modelnem vzorcu destilirane vode preizkušali, kako različni dodatki vplivajo na adsorpcijo niklja z vsemi tremi vrstami adsorbentov. Glede na dobljene rezultate smo opravili poskuse na realnem vzorcu pitne vode in ugotovili, da nikelj z modificiranim naravnim zeolitom iz Kosova z NaCl in s Petrosorbom 26T lahko odstranimo pod mejno vrednost 0,02 mg/L. Na adsorpcijo niklja vpliva vsebnost organskih snovi bolj kot prisotnost drugih težkih kovin.

Title:REMOVAL OF NICKEL FROM WATERS BY ADSORPTION
Abstract:The aim of our diploma work was to use adsorption for nickel removal from drinking water. We chose natural and synthetic zeolites as well as chelate polymer as adsorbents. In order to reduce concentration of nickel below 0,02 mg/l, which is determined as maximum allowed value by law in drinking water model sample solutions were prepared. Regarding to the results of these measurements the real drinking water sample were tested. We found out that nickel could be removed by using NaCl modified natural zeolite and Petrosorb 26T below maximum allowed value of 0,02 mg/L. We also checked the influence of organic compounds on nickel adsorption which was greater in comparison with the heavy metals influence.
