Abstract:Diplomsko delo z naslovom Lutka ljubljenka v vrtcu v teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge obravnava vrste lutk, lutko ljubljenko in njen pomen ter prisotnost v vsakodnevni rutini, vpliv lutke na otrokov razvoj in metode dela z lutko. Empirični del diplomske naloge pa zajema raziskavo, s katero smo želeli ugotoviti in primerjati uporabo lutke ljubljenke v dveh vrtcih ter na kakšen način in pri katerih dejavnosti vzgojitelji lutko ljubljenko uporabljajo. S pomočjo anketnih vprašalnikov smo prišli do ugotovitve, da več kot polovica anketiranih vzgojiteljev v obeh vrtcih ima lutko ljubljenko in jo uporablja na različnih področjih vzgoje in izobraževanja. Vendar so se pojavila tudi razhajanja med vrtcema in vzgojitelji, saj določeni uporabljajo lutke samo na enem področju kurikuluma, drugi pa jo uporabljajo pri več ali vseh področjih kurikuluma.

Title:A PUPPET FRIEND IN KINDERGARTEN
Abstract:The theoretical part of the diploma paper entitled A Puppet Friend in Kindergarten discusses the types of puppets; a puppet friend and its significance as well as presence in a kindergarten’s daily routine; the influence of a puppet friend on a child’s development, and methods of working with a puppet. The empirical part of the diploma paper includes the presentation of the research, the data for which have been acquired with the use of a questionnaire. The main aim of the research was to determine whether preschool teachers use puppets for teaching purposes, whether the use of puppets in a playroom is significant for children, whether there are puppet friends in the studied groups, and in what ways and for which activities they are being used. Findings show that preschool teachers use puppets in the educational process, and at the same time believe that the use of puppets plays an important role in children’s lives. It has also been established that more than fifty percent of preschool teachers from both kindergartens that were included in the opinion poll own a puppet friend, and that they use it for different activities and in different areas. However, there have been some discrepancies between the two kindergartens and among preschool teachers, for some of the preschool teachers use the puppet friend solely in one area of the curriculum while others use it in different areas of the curriculum.
