Opis:Diplomsko delo z naslovom Vstop otroka v vrtec in prilagoditvene težave otrok je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. V teoretičnem delu so predstavljeni: otrokovo doživljanje ob vstopu v vrtec in s tem povezana njegova navezanost na starše, socializacija otroka, njegov emocionalni razvoj, vloga vrtca, sodelovanje s starši, vpliv zgodnjega varstva, priprava otroka na vstop v vrtec, vloga vzgojitelja, uvajalno obdobje otroka in prilagoditvene težave otrok ob vstopu v vrtec. V empiričnem delu so predstavljeni rezultati raziskave, ki smo jih dobili s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika 44 staršev otrok ljubljanskega vrtca Ciciban. Namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti, kako so starši svojega otroka pripravljali na uvajalno obdobje, kakšni so bili odzivi otrok v času uvajanja, ko so bili prve dni starši z njimi v vrtcu, katere so najpogostejše prilagoditvene težave, ki so se pojavljale doma in v vrtcu v času uvajanja, in kako dolgo so trajale. Zanimalo nas je tudi, ali se starši zavedajo, kako pomembna je njihova prisotnost v uvajalnem obdobju in kakšna je obolevnost otrok v obdobju po vključitvi v vrtec. Ugotovili smo, da se starši zavedajo, kako pomembno je uvajalno obdobje, saj si je večina staršev vzela čas in sodelovala pri uvajanju svojega otroka v vrtec. Ugotovili smo tudi, da je večina otrok prvi dan v vrtcu v igralnici raziskovala, zanimale so jih igrače in nov prostor, presenetil pa je podatek, da v večini primerov ob uvajanju otroka v vrtec ni bilo prilagoditvenih težav, kar je za starše otrok in vzgojitelje vzpodbuden podatek. Ugotovili pa smo tudi, da večina staršev meni, da se je dovzetnost za obolenja njihovih otrok po vstopu v vrtec povečala.

Naslov:CHILD'S ENTRANCE INTO NURSERY SCHOOL AND CHILDREN'S ADJUSTMENT PROBLEMS
Opis:The diploma work with the title Child’s Entrance into Nursery School and Children’s Adjustment Problems includes a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part presents a child’s experience upon entrance into a nursery school and the associated child’s attachment to parents, child’s socialisation, child’s emotional development, role of the nursery school, cooperation with parents, impact of early nursery care, child’s preparation to entrance into a nursery school, role of a nursery school teacher, child’s introductory period and children’s adjustment problems upon entrance into a nursery school. The empirical part presents the results of a survey as collected with a questionnaire, which was completed by 44 parents of the nursery school Ciciban in Ljubljana. The scope of the survey was to determine how parents prepared their child to the introductory period, children’s response during the introductory period when parents stayed with them in the first days of the nursery school, the most frequent adjustment problems that were observed at home and in the nursery school during the introduction and the duration of children’s adjustment problems at home and in the nursery school. We have also focused on the parents’ awareness of the significance of their presence during the introductory period and on the children’s illness rate in the period following their entrance into a nursery school. It was established that parents were aware of the introductory period’s significance as most parents took time and participated in introduction of their child into a nursery school. It was also determined that most children investigated the playroom on their first day as they were interested in toys and a new place. We were surprised by the information that in most cases there were no adjustment problems upon introduction into the nursery school, which is encouraging for parents and nursery teachers. Another finding was that most parents believed that their children’s susceptibility to diseases increased upon their entrance into a nursery school.
