Title:Pomen preprečevanja bakterijskih okužb prebavil

Abstract:V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela z naslovom Pomen preprečevanja bakterijskih okužb prebavil smo predstavili dejavnike tveganja za okužbo z glavnimi bakterijskimi povzročitelji, z živili, vodo ter možnosti njihovega preprečevanja in nadzora. Predstavljena je tudi vloga medicinske sestre pri preprečevanju bakterijskih okužb prebavil. Medicinska sestra lahko s svojo izobrazbo in delovanjem osvešča posameznika in širšo družbeno skupnost o nevarnostih okužbe in prepoznavnosti le- teh. V empiričnem delu smo v obliki grafikonov predstavili rezultate raziskave, s katero smo želeli ugotoviti seznanjenost posameznikov o bakterijskih okužbah, simptomih in preventivnimi ukrepi. Metodologija raziskovanja. Uporabili smo deskriptivno metodo dela, za pridobitev želenih podatkov pa smo uporabili anonimen anketni vprašalnik. Sodelovalo je 100 naključno izbranih pacientov v Zgornjesavinjskem zdravstvenem domu. Anketiranje je bilo izvedeno v mesecih maj, junij in julij 2011. Rezultati raziskave. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, so se pacienti v 83 % že srečali s težavami, ki so bile posledica okužbe prebavil z bakterijo, 69 % anketiranih pozna vsaj enega od povzročiteljev okužb. V večini so seznanjeni s preventivnimi ukrepi, med katere sodijo predvsem higiena rok in rokovanje z živili. Informacije pa so si pridobili v 73 % preko medijev. Sklep. Bakterijske okužbe prebavil so pogosta obolenja, ki prizadenejo osebe vseh starosti. Nevarnejša so pri otrocih, starostnikih, pri osebah z oslabelim imunskim sistemom. Pomembna je seznanjenost posameznikov in širše skupnosti o dejavnikih tveganja za okužbo in preprečevalnimi ukrepi, ki so poglavitni za ohranjanje in krepitev zdravja.

Title:The importance of preventing gastrointerstinal bacterial infections
Abstract:In theoretical part of diploma work, entitled with The importance of preventing gastrointerstinal bacterial infections, we presented risk factors for infection with the major bacterial pathogens, food, water, and the possibilities of their prevention and control. It is also presented the work of a nurses and their role at prevention of gastrointerstinal bacterial infections. The nurse is able, through the constant training and education, to raise the individuals and broader society about the symptoms of a bacterial infections and their threat to life. The empirical part of a work includes different form of a chart that presented the result of a search about bacterial infection, symptoms and preventive measures. Methodology of the research. A descriptive method was used to an anonymous questionnaire, that was distributed among 100 patients in the Zgornjesavinjski health center. The survey took place in May, June and July of 2011. The results of a research. The results of a survey showed, that 83 percent of a patients already meet with problems that were caused by gastrointerstinal infection, 69 percent of a patients are familiar with least one of the infectious agents. Most of them are informed with the preventive measures, which include mainly hand hygiene and food handling. Information was gained in 73 percent of the media. Conclusion. Bacterial infections are common gastrointerstinal diseases that affect people of all ages. Represent a higher risk with children, older people and people with compromised immune systems. The most important is the familiarity of individuals and wider community about the risk factors for infection and preventive measures, that are crucial for maintaining and improving health.
