Title:USPOSABLJANJE NA DELOVNEM MESTU - UKREP V OKVIRU AKTIVNE POLITIKE ZAPOSLOVANJA

Abstract:Z aktivno politiko zaposlovanja država posredno in neposredno posega na trg dela. Aktivna politika zaposlovanja je ključni instrument za odpravljanje neskladij med ponudbo in povpraševanjem. Ukrepi aktivne politike zaposlovanja so namenjeni povečanju zaposlenosti in zmanjševanju brezposelnosti, večji zaposljivosti oseb na trgu dela ter povečanju konkurenčnosti in prožnosti delodajalcev. Namen diplomskega dela je prikazati program Usposabljanje na delovnem mestu, ki je stalnica programov aktivne politike zaposlovanja na Zavodu Republike Slovenije za zaposlovanje. V teoretičnem delu smo opredelili aktivno politiko zaposlovanja, trg dela - in podrobno program Usposabljanje na delovnem mestu. V empiričnem delu smo preverjali veljavnost dveh hipotez, in sicer z raziskavo o povezanosti med brezposelnostjo in vključevanjem v program Usposabljanje na delovnem mestu v obdobju od leta 2000 do 2010.

Title:TRAINING IN THE WORKPLACE - A MEASURE OF THE ACTIVE EMPLOYMENT POLICY
Abstract:Active employment policies serve as a tool for the state to intervene in labour market. Active employment policies are the key instrument used to diminish imbalances between supply and demand on the labour market. Measures employed as part of active employment policies aim at increasing employment and decreasing unemployment, improving individual's ability to get a job, while also boosting the competitive position and flexibility of the employer. The goal of this thesis is to provide an analytic overview of On-the-Job Training Programme, a permanent feature of active employment policies of Slovenia’s Employment Service. The theoretical part of the paper defines the active policies of employment, the labour market and the on-the job training programme in detail. The empirical part of the paper focuses on examining two hypotheses through a survey investigating the link between unemployment and participation in on-the-job training programme in the period between 2000 and 2010.
