Title:POTROŠNIKOVO VEDENJE O VARNI HRANI Z VIDIKA POENOTENE ŽIVILSKE ZAKONODAJE V REPUBLIKI SLOVENIJI NA PODROČJU VARSTVA ŽIVIL

Abstract:EU teži k poenoteni in uravnoteženi zakonodaji na področju varnosti živil z namenom, da bi oblikovala in ohranila visoko stopnjo zaščite potrošnika. Znanstveno podprtim standardom in predpisom za varnost živil, se je pridružila tudi Republika Slovenija. V nalogi sem obravnavala sedem uredb živilske zakonodaje, ki so zavezujoče za vse države EU. S pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika, ki je vseboval vprašanja glede potrošnikovega vedenja o živilski zakonodaji in njegovega poznavanja zdravstvenih in prehranskih trditev, in je bil na voljo na spletu v mesecu juliju 2011, sem pridobila podatke, ki sem jih ovrednotila s programoma SPSS 17.0 za Windows in SigmaStat 3.5. Rezultati so pokazali, da potrošniki kljub veliki ponudbi na tržišču raje kupujejo živila, ki jih tržišče ponuja že dlje časa. Za potrošnika sta, prav tako pomembna način in poreklo pridelave živil, naklonjeni so tudi ekološko pridelanim živilom, zavračajo pa živila iz gensko spremenjenih organizmov. Večina anketirancev zaupa uradnemu nadzoru živil, prav tako pa so mnenja, da se je varnost živil po vstopu RS v EU poslabšala oziroma je ostala na istem nivoju. Po mnenju anketirancev globalizacija prinaša tudi večje tveganje na področju varnosti živil. Obravnavana živilska zakonodaja se nenehno prilagaja vsem hitrim spremembam, in sicer z namenom, da bi zaščitila uporabnike. Uporabniki pa seveda s svojim poznavanjem smernic o zdravi prehrani in s primerno izbiro živil vplivajo na svoje zdravje.

Title:Consumer attitude and behaviour towards safe food according to the Slovenian Harmonised Food Law for food safety
Abstract:In this region a harmonised food legislation was needed because of the EU tendency to re-establish a reliable food safety market and to maintain high consumer health protection. Food safety standards and regulations, approved by scientists, are also supported by the Republic of Slovenia. In my work I have discussed seven regulations from the Harmonised Food Regulation, valid for all EU members. With a questionnaire which was carried out on the internet in July 2011, I wanted to find out consumers knowledge about the food law and its possibility of adaptation according to his needs. Results were processed with the programs SPSS 17.0 for Windows and SigmaStat 3.5 and they showed that consumers buy food they are used to, despite the big offer on the market. They also see importance in the way and origin of food production and are in favour of organic food, but reject genetically modified food. Most of them trust the official control of foodstuffs and think that food safety has decreased or stayed the same after Slovenia joined the EU. In their opinion, globalisation brings a higher risk. The discussed food law is constantly adapting to changes, but only to protect the consumers. On the other hand they are co-responsible to take care of their health with the awareness of and behaviour towards healthy food and the reasonable choice of foodstuffs.
