Abstract:Vsi se skozi življenje srečujemo z raznimi obremenitvami in zahtevami. Vsak od nas pa je drugačen, imamo namreč različne sposobnosti za spoprijemanje s temi zahtevami. Kadar so zahteve večje kot naše sposobnosti, pademo pod vpliv negativnega stresa, ki je zelo škodljiv. Zlasti to velja, ko smo dolgo izpostavljeni škodljivemu stresu, pestijo nas različne bolezni, smo slabe volje in si nismo podobni. Nekaj stresa pa je vsekakor dobrodošlo, gre za prijazni stres. Ta nas spodbuja, povečuje našo storilnost in delavnost. Zahteve pa tudi ne smejo biti premajhne, sicer nam hitro postane dolgčas, kar tudi lahko vodi v stres. Stres še zlasti predstavlja problem, ko se pojavi na delovnem mestu. Ne samo, da je škodljiv za zaposlene, precejšnje stroške povzroči tudi organizacijam in nazadnje tudi državi. Škodljivi stres ima torej precej negativnih posledic, tako za posameznika, kot tudi za organizacijo, v kateri je zaposlen. Vendar pa je stres obvladljiv, lahko se mu upremo, in sicer z različnimi tehnikami za obvladovanje stresa. Najprej pa moramo sploh prepoznati vzroke, zaradi katerih smo pod stresom, šele nato pa se lahko spoprijemamo z le tem. Ne glede na to, ali vzroki za stres izhajajo iz delovnega okolja ali zunaj tega, vedno obstaja pot, kako omiliti oziroma obvladati stres. Sprva je pomembno, da zaživimo bolj zdravo in spremenimo svoje navade ter se začnemo dovolj gibati, zdravo prehranjevati in dovolj spati. Nadalje pa se lahko poslužujemo številnih tehnik sproščanja, kot so joga, meditacija in avtogeni trening ter se sprostimo ob kakšni masaži. Pomembno pa je tudi, da smo čim bolj samozavestni in nasmejani ter da znamo upravljati s svojim časom. Stres je torej globalni pojav in problem vsake družbe. Povzroča precej bolezni in velike stroške podjetjem in državam. Zato se moramo čim prej zavedati resnosti tega problema in se spoprijeti z njim. Le tako bomo lahko živeli mirno in bolj kakovostno življenje, zmanjšali pa se bodo stroški, povzročeni s strani stresa.

Title:INDIVIDUAL TECHNIQUES FOR MANAGING STRESS IN THE WORKPLACE
Abstract:We meet with various loads and requirements through our lifetime. Each of us is a different person, we have different abilities to cope with these requierements. When the requirements are greater than our abilities, we fall under the influence of negative stress, which is very harmful. This is particulary common, when we are exposed to harmful stress for a long time. Than we suffer from various diseases, we are in a bed mood and we do not look like ourselfs. Some amount of stress is certainly welcome, we call it positive stress. This stress encouraged us to increase our performance and diligence. Request also should not be to small, because we can quickly become bored, which also leads to stress. In particular, stress is a big problem when it occurs in the workplace. Not only it is harmful to employees, it can also cause significant costs to oranizations and ultimately to country. Harmful stress has therefore rather negative consequences for an individual, as well as for the organization, he is employed in. However, stress is manageable, we can resist it by using a variety of techniques for stress managing. But first we have to identify the reasons, which bring us stress, than we can face it. Whether the reasons are in the workplace or outside it, there is always a way to mitigate or manage stress. Initially, it is important to live healthier life and change our habits and begin to move enough, sleep enough and eat healthy. Furthermore, we can use a number of relaxation techniques, such as yoga, meditation and autogenic training, or go to massage to relax. It is also important that we are confident and happy enough and we know how to manage our time. Stress is a global phenomenon and a problem of every society. It causes many illnesses and high costs to companies and governments. Therefore, we have to realize the seriousness of this problem and deal with it as soon as we can. Only then we can live a peaceful life and enjoy better quality of life. The costs caused by stress will also be reduced.
