Abstract:Bolnišnična šola v Sloveniji obstaja že petdeset let. Teoretični del diplomske naloge obsega psihološki, zdravstveni in pedagoški sklop. Predstavlja motorični razvoj otroka in fino motoriko, ročne spretnosti, dragocenost in ohranitev zdravja. Predstavlja tudi bolnišnično šolo, njen pomen, obstoj, potek dela, cilje in metode dela, izvajalce, dejavnosti učiteljev in potek dela s starši.

Title:INCLUSION OF DEVELOPMENT OF MANUAL SKILLS INTO THE CONTEXT OF LESSONS IN GRADES 1-5 AT HOSPITAL SCHOOL
Abstract:Hospital school in Slovenia exists for 50 years. The conditions for teaching children have improved a lot during this time. Teachers should help sick children in hospitals so they can gain knowledge, which later enables children to be easily included in the missed school work. The theoretical part of my diploma includes a psychological, a medical and a pedagogical part. It presents the motoric development of a child, fine motorics, manual skills, health, how precious health is and how to stay healthy. It also presents hospital school, its importance, from when it exists, how it is carried out, what are its goals and methods, who carries it out and how they work with parents. In the empirical part of the diploma we were interested in activities, enabling the use of manual skills, which are carried out in hospital school by the teachers, in which way they are carried out and what are the advantages or the disadvantages of those activities. The results have shown that activities developing manual skills aren't often used, mostly on Days for natural sciences or Days for technics and technologies. We have also found out that school work at hospitals differs a lot from the one at schools. The practical part of the diploma presents lesson plans in descriptive form from grades 1 to 5 for subjects Environmental Education and Natural Sciences and Technics. Lesson plans include making various products, which pupils can produce, thereby practicing their manual skills.
