Abstract:Diplomsko delo z naslovom Vpliv elementarnih iger za razvoj gibalnih znanj je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. V teoretičnem delu so predstavljene stopnje gibalnega razvoja otroka, vloga elementarnih iger v telesnem in gibalnem razvoju, gibalna znanja ter gibalno izkušenjsko bogato okolje. V empiričnem delu diplomskega dela pa so prikazani rezultati raziskave o vplivu elementarnih iger v predšolskem obdobju na razvoj gibalnih znanj pri otrocih. Raziskava je potekala v obliki pedagoškega eksperimenta. S testiranjem 38 otrok drugega starostnega obdobja in z obdelavo podatkov smo ugotavljali razliko v gibalnih znanjih med otroki, ki so dva meseca v okviru redne gibalne dejavnosti imeli načrtovane in strokovno vodene elementarne igre, in otroki, ki v tem času niso imeli posebnega poudarka na elementarnih igrah. Rezultati raziskave so naslednji: na začetnem in končnem testiranju ni bilo razlike med dečki in deklicami v rezultatih testiranja gibalnih znanj; na končnem testiranju so otroci eksperimentalne skupine dosegali boljše rezultate, kot otroci kontrolne skupine; načrtovane in strokovno vodene elementarne igre vplivajo na razvoj gibalnih znanj.

Title:THE ENFLUENCE OF BASIC GAMES ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF MOTOR SKILLS
Abstract:The diploma paper consists of a theoretical and an empirical part. In the theoretical part I presented the stages of the motor development in childhood, the role of elementary games in the physical and motor development, motor skills and the rich motor-experiential environment. The empirical part contains the results of a research about the influence of elementary games in the preschool stage. The research was performed in form of a pedagogical experiment, where 38 children from the second preschool age bracket were tested. With processing of the results I tried to determine the difference between two groups of children; first group, the experimental group, had had regular expert planed and guided motor activities for two months and the second group, the control group, had no special emphasis on elementary games during that time. The initial and final testing showed no difference between the boys and the girls; however the children from the experimental group got better results in final testing than those from the control group. I therefore determined that the expert planed and guided elementary games influence the development of the motor skills in childhood.
