Title:UČINKOVITO LOČENO ZBIRANJE KOMUNALNIH ODPADKOV Z UVEDBO METODE ZBIRANJA OD VRAT DO VRAT

Abstract:V občinah Tržič, Mestni občini Kranj ter v petih primestnih občinah Cerklje na Gorenjskem, Šenčur, Preddvor, Naklo in Jezersko ločeno zbiranje komunalnih odpadkov poteka z uvedbo metode zbiranja od vrat do vrat ter preko ekoloških otokov in zbirnih centrov. Ena najbolj pomembnih dejavnosti na področju ravnanja z odpadki je ozaveščanje prebivalstva, kajti brez sodelovanja vsakega posameznika uspeh ni mogoč. Zato je potrebno investirati v aktivnosti na področju ozaveščanja in informiranja ključnih javnosti, da se bo v bodoče efekt ločevanja odpadkov še izboljšal. V magistrskem delu so predstavljene ugotovitve raziskave o vključenosti prebivalcev Tržiča, Mestne občine Kranj, Cerkelj na Gorenjskem, Šenčurja, Preddvora, Naklega in Jezerskega v sistem ločenega zbiranja komunalnih odpadkov z uvedbo metode zbiranja od vrat do vrat in njihove ozaveščenosti o tej tematiki. Rezultati analize ankete so pokazali, da 75,4% anketirancev ločuje steklo, 65,2% odpadno embalažo, 80,8% papir, 57,5% biološko razgradljive odpadke in 45,5% nevarne odpadke. V večini primerov (57%) se je za ločevanje odpadkov odločila celotna družina hkrati. Nadalje je 25,5% anketirancev odgovorilo, da so začeli ločevati starši, 9% pa, da so odpadke začeli ločevati otroci. Večina anketirancev je na vprašanje, če imajo dovolj informacij o pravilnem in doslednem ločevanju odpadkov odgovorila pritrdilno. 29,3% anketirancev je odgovorilo, da so jim bile informacije podane predvsem s strani občine in komunalnega podjetja, 28,4% anketirancev meni, da so največ informacij dobili z zabojnikov za ločeno zbiranje komunalnih odpadkov. Prav tako se večina anketirancev strinja s trditvijo, da je ljudi potrebno denarno kaznovati, ker jih drugače ni mogoče prepričati o nujnosti ločevanja odpadkov.

Title:EFFICIENT SEPARATE COLLECTION OF MUNICIPAL WASTE BY THE INTRODUCTION OF THE DOOR TO DOOR METHOD
Abstract:In the municipalities of Tržič, Kranj, Cerklje na Gorenjskem, Šenčur, Preddvor, Naklo and Jezersko separate collection of municipal waste is performed by the introduction of door to door collection method as well as by waste collection on the ecological islands. One of the crucial activities in the field of waste management is motivation of citizens as effective waste separation is not possible without their active cooperation. Therefore investing in motivation and information of citizens is a necessary condition for improvement of waste separation in future. Thesis presents findings of research about inclusion of inhabitants of the municipalities Tržič, Kranj, Cerklje na Gorenjskem, Šenčur, Preddvor, Naklo and Jezersko in the system of separate collection of municipal waste by the door to door method as well as about their awareness regarding to the waste treatment topics. It can be concluded from results of the survey that 75,4% of citizens separate glass, 65,2% waste packaging, 80,8% paper, 57,5% biodegradable waste and 45,5% hazardous waste. In the majority of examples (57%) the entire family together started with waste separation, parents started with separation and in 25,5% of examples and children in 9% . The majority of persons included in survey answered that they have sufficient information about correct and consistent separation of waste. 29.3% of citizens answered that they have got information about waste separation from municipality or municipal service company, meanwhile 28,4% answered that they have got the crucial information from the instructions written on the containers for separate waste fractions. The majority of inquired persons also agree that financial punishment of undisciplined citizens is necessary as it is the only possible way to convince some people about the inevitability of waste separation.
