Title:IZKORIŠČANJE TOPLOTNEGA POTENCIALA IZPUŠNIH PLINOV S STIRLINGOVIM MOTORJEM

Abstract:V diplomskem delu je predstavljena zasnova, preračun in umestitev Stirlingovega motorja v vozilo, kjer izkorišča toplotni potencial iz izpušnega sistema ter analiza odpovedi in njihovih vplivov. Prikazani so vsi pomembnejši parametri potrebni za koncipiranje Stirlingovega motorja, ki so glede na dane kriterije izbrani in argumentirani. Z analizo prostora v vozilu, ki je na voljo za vgradnjo takšne naprave in glede na razpoložljivo toploto iz izpušnega sistema se bo prek termodinamskega preračuna videlo, da se neizkoriščen toplotni potencial lahko izkoristi kot dodaten vir energije. Takšno napravo je smotrno uporabljati zaradi večjega skupnega izkoristka z motorjem z notranjim izgorevanjem.

Title:EXPLOITATION OF EXHAUST GASES ENERGY BY APPLICATION OF STIRLING ENGINE
Abstract:In this graduation work the conception, calculation and integration of a Stirling engine into a vehicle is shown, where it uses the heat potential from the exhaust system and also the failure mode and effects analysis of the device. All of the important parameters needed for conception are shown and argumented. By analyzing the available space for allocation of such device and the available heat potential from the exhaust system it will by means of a thermodynamic calculation show, that the unused heat potential can be used as an added source of energy. Such device is viable and efficient for usage due to a higher total efficinecy coupled with the internal combustion engine.
