Abstract:Cena energentov, med katerimi so v večini fosilna goriva, ima odločilno vlogo na globalno gospodarstvo. V zadnjih letih se srečujemo s konstantno rastjo cen energije, hkrati pa človeštvo že čuti posledice podnebnih sprememb. Cena energije posledično vpliva na konkurenčnost celotne Evropske unije. Ker se 42 % vse energije porablja v zgradbah, je Evropska unija sprejela smernico EPBD (Smernica o učinkoviti rabi energije v zgradbah). Ta opredeljuje, kako učinkovito upravljati zgradbe, da bodo zagotavljale maksimalno udobje ob minimalni porabi energije. V diplomskem delu bomo opredelili, katerim zahtevam morajo sodobni regulacijski sistemi ustrezati in ocenili prihranke energije, ki jih je z njimi možno doseči.

Title:THE IMPACT OF BUILDING AUTOMATION ON THE ENERGY EFFIENCY OF BUILDINGS
Abstract:In the past years the prices of energy (especially fossil fuels) are constant rising. They play the crucial role in competitiveness the European Union. The mankind is already facing with the consequences of global warming. Since 42 % of all energy is consumed in buildings the European Union adopted the Directive EPBD (Directive on energy efficiency in buildings). It defines how to effectively manage buildings so that they will provide maximum comfort with minimal energy. In my diploma work we will define the requirements which must conform to modern control systems and assess the energy savings that can be achieved with them.
