Title:UČINKOVITOST PAUKOVE STRATEGIJE PRI POUKU DRUŽBA

Abstract:V diplomski nalogi z naslovom Učinkovitost Paukove strategije pri pouku družba smo se v teoretičnem delu usmerili v pojma učenje in branje, ki sta pomembna dejavnika v času šolanja. Opredelili smo kompleksne bralne učne strategije, ki učencem omogočajo lažje sprejemanje in zapomnitev novih informacij. Podrobneje smo se posvetili Paukovi strategiji, ki zagotavlja sistematični zapis organiziranih zapiskov ali predloge za učenje. Predloga za učenje nastane tako, da si učenec razdeli list papirja v dve koloni. Leva kolona je namenjena izpiskom, desna pa ključnim besedam, s pomočjo katerih se učenec kasneje uči. Strategija pomaga učencu do lažje zapomnitve in razumevanja nove snovi. V empiričnem delu diplomske naloge smo želeli preučiti, ali bo Paukova strategija učinkovita tudi pri pouku družbe, in sicer v petem razredu. Za raziskavo smo uporabili eksperimentalno metodo pedagoškega raziskovanja. Strategijo smo izvedli v enem od oddelkov petega razreda na eni izmed mariborskih osnovnih šol. Po obravnavi neumetnostnega besedila Iz življenja v mestih po Paukovi strategiji, smo na koncu ure uporabili preizkus znanja z vprašanji iz vseh treh ravni razumevanja. Rezultati so pokazali napredek eksperimentalnega oddelka predvsem pri nalogah, kjer je potrebno aktivirati višje miselne procese. Prav tako so učenci eksperimentalnega oddelka izboljšali predloge za učenje.

Title:EFFICIENCY OF PAUKO'S STRATEGY IN SOCIAL STUDIES COURSE
Abstract:In my diploma paper »Efficiency of Pauko's strategy in social studies course« we focused on reading and learning in the theoretical part. These two concepts are very important during one's education. We defined complex reading and learning strategies which facilitate exepting and remembering new information. Our focus was on Pauko's strategy which provides systematic record of organized notes and suggestions for learning. The suggestion for learning is established when a learner divides a paper in two columns. The left coloumn is for notes, the right one is for key words, which are used for learning further on. This strategy helps a student to understand and remember the basis easily. In the empirical part of this diploma paper we wanted to study if Pauko's can be efficient during the lesson of society in fifth grade. We used the experimental method of teaching research. We performed this method in a primary school in Maribor. After reading a text at the end of a lesson, we put out a test with all three levels of understanding. The results showed a progress of an experimental section with those tasks that needed higher thinking process. These students also improved suggestions for learning.
