Title:ANALYSIS OF E- BUSINESS SOLUTIONS FOR SELECTED SLOVENIAN COMMERCIAL BANKS
Abstract:Electronic banking is today much anchored between users and we do not know how to do banking business without it. This is because of technology development and access to the internet. However is Slovenia still behind from EU, especially for the leading countries in the EU. Electronic banking can be defined as the way of doing banking services via internet and do that from anywhere and anytime. The development of this area has started in 70s years of the last century, where the England bank has offered its customers the first form of electronic banking. Ever since then the development has brought new opportunities for the electronic banking. It has started with cash machines and continues with telephone banking, smart cards, internet and mobile banking. All of these services have brought a lot of benefits to the bank and to the customers. The most important of them are time saving, lower costs and availability of banking services from anywhere and anytime. But on the other hand we also know weaknesses and the main of them is security. Security in electronic banking has very important role and influences the decision to use or not use of electronic banking. Banks have to provide security services. This is achieved through various security methods such as cryptography, digital certificates, digital signatures and others. The good side of Slovenian banks is they have solid security. Any whey there is a lot of place for improvement. At the end of this diploma paper is the analysis of electronic banking in Slovenia. The analysis is based on different criteria which I have chosen. These criteria are costs, services, security, customer satisfaction and loyalty and the display for market shares of banks in relation to online banking.
Keywords:electronic banking, online banking, mobile banking, electronic banking security.
