, Alta skupina d.d. (združitev treh borznoposredniških hiš Medvešek Pušnik, Poteza, Publikum), GBD online BPH d.d. in BrokerJet Sparkasse d.d. (ustanovljena s partnerstvom Banke Sparkasse d.d. ter Ecetera Central European e-finance AG leta 2008).

Title:E-BROKERAGE
Abstract:The development of electronic business started with the development of computer networks and the internet in the 1960s. Since then, we have witnessed an unbelievable growth. In this day and age, companies without electronic business possibilities virtually do not exist since this is crucial for their development. E-brokerage is one of the forms of electronic business, which rapidly started evolving in the 1990s and due to the constant money influx woke up the brokerage bull that raged at least a decade without any serious down correction waves. E-brokerage has drastically reduced the time from the brokerage order to its execution. Due to a quicker reaction in the market where information is pivotal in rate fluctuation, bigger corrections in stock indexes can occur. However, these may frighten many pessimists in a capital market, consequently causing the indexes to fall even more and in a very short period of time. On December 8, 1993 the members of Ljubljana Stock Exchange launched the stock exchange information system (BIS). In 1999 they started using the BTS trading tool and since then the stock exchange provided several electronic services, such as BORZAnet, information systems SEOnet and CSI (INFO HRAMBA), in cooperation with ATVP. At the end of 2010, they launched the international exchange platform XETRA, accessible via J-Trader, in order to boost the development and competitiveness of Ljubljana Stock Exchange and consequently improving the situation in the Slovene capital market. In Slovenia there are four major brokerages that offer electronic exchange services: Ilirika BPH d.d., Alta skupina d.d. (three brokerages merger: Medvešek Pušnik, Poteza, Publikum), GBD online BPH d.d. and BrokerJet Sparkasse d.d. (founded in partnership with Banke Sparkasse d.d and Ecetera Central European e-finance AG in 2008).
