Abstract:Sistemi s kontroliranim sproščanjem imajo v večini primerih prednost pred farmacevtskimi oblikami s takojšnjim sproščanjem. Tako s stališča učinkovitosti kot tudi varnosti. Za doseganje kontroliranega sproščanja se v večini primerih danes uporabljajo alginati. Posebna oblika s prirejenim sproščanjem je farmacevtska učinkovina obložena z večimi plastmi alginata, oziroma t.i. multi-membranska struktura. Z njo lahko vplivamo na hitrost sproščanja učinkovine. Mi smo pripravili 3, 5 in 8 membranske aerogelne kroglice v katere smo vezali teofilin, ki v naši diplomski nalogi predstavlja aktivno učinkovino. Nato smo jih superkritično posušili s CO2, ter s pomočjo naprave FARMATESTER-3 izvedli sproščanje aktivne učinkovine iz nosilca.

Title:PREPARATION OF MULTI MEMBRANE ALGINATE AEROGELS AS DRUG CARRIERS
Abstract:Systems of controlled release in most cases take precendence over the pharmaceutical forms with immediate release. Thus, in terms of efficiency and safety. To achieve controlled release, in most, today we use alginate. A special form of modified release is the pharmaceutical substance which is coated with multiple layers of alginate, or so called multi-membrane structure. That kind of stucture can influence on the rate of release agents. We prepared 3, 5 and 8 membrane aerogels. In to aerogels we bind Theophylline, which in our thesis is the active substance. Then we dried them by supercritical CO2, and under the control of FARMATESTER-3 performed the release of the active substance from the carrier.
