Title:ČIŠČENJE ODPADNE VODE NA CENTRALNI ČISTILNI NAPRAVI KASAZE V OBDOBJU NADGRADNJE

Abstract:Čiščenje odpadne vode vpliva na kakovost vodnih virov. Za naselja Spodnje Savinjske doline je zgrajena Centralna čistilna naprava Kasaze, ki služi za čiščenje komunalnih, industrijskih in padavinskih odpadnih vod. Decembra 2008 se je zaradi spremenjene slovenske zakonodaje na področju varovanja okolja in predvsem zaradi preobremenjenosti obstoječe CČN Kasaze pričela izvajati nadgradnja in posodobitev (Projekt Žalec) in sicer iz 18.750 PE na 60.000 PE. Dokončno nadgrajena CČN bo zajemala tehnologijo za razgradnjo ogljikovih spojin iz odpadne vode vključno z nitrifikacijo, denitrifikacijo in defosfatizacijo ter anaerobno stabilizacijo blata z dehidracijo in končnim odvozom blata. V obdobju nadgradnje od začetka marca do konca septembra 2010 je obratovala delna linija vode, linija blata pa še ni bila posodobljena. V tem času smo preučevali učinkovitost delovanja CČN Kasaze glede na rezultate dnevnih analiz na vtoku in iztoku CČN ter blata. Poleg tega smo na podlagi opravljenih meritev določali učinke čiščenja z merjenjem KPK, BPK5, celotnega dušika in celotnega fosforja. Čeprav je tehnologija čiščenja odpadne vode v obdobju nadgradnje zajemala le mehansko in biološko čiščenje ter proces nitrifikacije, smo na osnovi analiznih rezultatov ugotovili, da je učinkovitost delovanja CČN Kasaze ustrezna. Učinki čiščenja, ki smo jih za parametra KPK in BPK5 določili v omenjenem obdobju, dosegajo visoke vrednosti; od 94 % do 98 %. Učinek čiščenja celotnega dušika se je gibal od 78 % do 96 %, celotnega fosforja pa od 82 % do 95 %. Rezultati so pokazali, da je CČN Kasaze v obdobju nadgradnje dosegala zakonsko predpisane mejne vrednosti.

Title:WASTEWATER TREATMENT DURING THE CENTRAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT KASAZE UPGRADE
Abstract:Wastewater treatment affects the quality of water resources. The central wastewater treatment plant CWWTP Kasaze was built in Spodnja Savinjska dolina in order to treat municipal, industrial and drainage wastewater. The upgrade and modernization (project Žalec) of water treatment plant, from 18,750 to 60,000 PEs began in December 2008 due to amended Slovenian legislation in the field of environmental protection and mainly due to the overload of the existing CWWTP Kasaze. The modernized CWWTP will apply technologies for removal of carbon compounds from wastewater including nitrification, denitrification and phosphorus removal as well as anaerobic stabilization of sludge with dehydration and final removal of the sludge. During the upgrading, i.e. from the beginning of March until the end of September 2010, a partial waterline was in operation, whereas the sludge line was outdated. In the meantime, we have closely examined CWWTP Kasaze's removal efficiency by performing daily analyses of the influent and effluent of the CWWTP as well as the sludge.In addition, we also determined the efficiency of COD, BOD5, total nitrogen and total phosphorus removal.Although the wasterwater technology during the upgrade involved only mechanical and biological treatment and the nitrification process, we came to the conclusion that the performance efficiency of CWWTP Kasaze was appropriate based on analytical results. The removal efficiences of both COD and BOD5 during this period, reached high values from 94 to 98 % and for total nitrogen and phosphorus from 78 to 96 % and from 82 to 95 %, respectively. The obtained results showed that the CWWTP Kasaze achieved statutory values during upgrade and modernization.
