Abstract:V diplomskem delu smo govorili o vodenju hotela, lastnosti vodij, o njihovih izzivih in problematiki zaposlenih. Prvo poglavje vsebuje opredelitev problema, cilje in tezo, predpostavke in omejitve ter predvidene metode raziskovanja. V drugem poglavju smo opredelili vodenje, opisali managerja in kakšne so njegove naloge. Našteli smo najpogostejše stile vodenja ter temeljne sposobnosti vodenja. Naslednje poglavje je namenjeno predstavitvi kategorizaciji hotelov in največjim hotelskim združbam. Razložili smo tudi razliko med poslovanjem verige hotelov in individualnih hotelov ter problematika zaposlenih. Za konec smo vključili tudi analizo ankete in tako sprejeli nekaj odločitev ter ovrgli na začetku postavljeno tezo.

Title:HOTEL MANAGEMENT
Abstract:In this thesis we discuss the hotel management, leaders characteristics, their challenges and problems of employees. The first chapter contains a definition of the problem, objectives and hypothesis, assumptions and limitations and the intended method of research. In the second chapter we define management, manager and what his functions are. We also described the most common styles of management. The following chapter presents the categorization of hotels and the largest group of hotels. We explainded the difference between business hotel chains and individual hotels and problems of employees. To conclude, we have included an analysis of the survey and we made some conclusions, and refuted the hypothesis that we stated in the first chapter.
