Abstract:Namen diplomskega seminarja je bil predstavitev koncepta družbene odgovornosti podjetja kot prostovoljne odločitve za reševanje socialnih in okoljskih vprašanj. V današnjem globaliziranemu svetu je odgovornost podjetij do okolja in širše družbe že nuja, česar so se v zadnjem desetletju pospešeno začela zavedati tudi slovenska podjetja - družbena odgovornost tako v prvi vrsti ne pomeni več zgolj izpolnjevanja zakonskih zahtev. Kljub gospodarski krizi v zadnjih letih je večina podjetij še vedno solidarnih po svojih finančnih sposobnostih, medtem ko so pričela nekatera podjetja smatrati družbeno odgovornost kot nepotreben strošek. Dejstvo je da družbena odgovornost vse bolj pridobiva na veljavi v svetu in tudi pri nas. V podjetju Pivovarna Laško d.d. se tega zavedajo že dolgo. Družbeno odgovornost so več kot uspešno vpeljali v svoje poslovanje in si tako zagotovili prepoznavnost, konkurenčno prednost ter zveste odjemalce. Ker v podjetju smatrajo družbeno odgovornost kot dolgoročno strategijo za razvoj podjetja, gospodarska kriza ni bistveno vplivala na njihove družbeno-odgovorne projekte. Opaziti je, da so iz leta v leto vse bolj aktivni na področju varstva okolja, zdravja ljudi, športa in kulture, seveda pa ne smemo pozabiti na sponzorstva in donatorstva.

Title:CONCEPT OF SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY IN THE ORGANISATION PIVOVARNA LAŠKO
Abstract:The aim of the diploma seminar was to present the concept of corporate social responsibility as a voluntary commitment to solving social and environmental issues. In todays's globalized world corporate responsibility towards the environment and the wider social context is already a necessity. During the last decade, Slovenian companies have also become increasingly aware of that. Social responsibility therefore does not primarily mean fulfilling no more than legal requirements anymore. In spite of the economic crisis in recent years, most companies are still solidary according to their financial means,while some companies have started to regard social responsibility as an unnecessary cost. It is a fact that social responsibility is becoming increasingly more important both in Slovenia and abroad. The company Pivovarna Laško d.d. has been aware of that for a long time. It has introduced social responsibility with great success in its business operations, thus gaining public attention and acclaim, competitive advantage and loyal customers. Since the company views social responsibility as a long-term strategy for company development, the economic crisis did not have a significant impact on its social responsibility projects. It can be noted that with every year to come it is becoming more involved in projects regarding environmental issues, health care, sports and culture, as well as in terms of sponsorships sand donations.
