Abstract:Delovni čas je eden izmed najpomembnejših elementov delovnega razmerja. Z njim so povezane pravice in obveznosti iz razmerja med delavcem in delodajalcem. Neskladje interesov med delavci in delodajalci, se odraža tako v regulaciji kot tudi v odrejanju delovnega časa. Posledica tega je pogosto slaba razporeditev delovnega časa ter nepotrebno opravljanje dela, ki ni v nikogaršnjem interesu. Od oblike delovnega časa je odvisna tudi izbira poklica. V nekaterih poklicih tako delovni čas pomembno vpliva na zasedbo določenih delovnih mest. Regulacija in odrejanje delovnega časa nista dopuščena samo državi ter delavcem in delodajalcem, temveč ju določa tudi okvir Evropske unije.

Title:CHARACTERISTICS OF WORKING TIME MEMBER OF THE EUROPEAN UNION
Abstract:Working time is one of the most important elements of an employment relationship. With the associated rights and obligations of the relationship between workers and employers. The disparity of interests between workers and employers is reflected in the regulation as well as enacting working hours. The result is often poor working hours and perform unnecessary work that is not in nobody’s interest. From the form of working time depends on the choice of profession. In some professions, such working time significantly affects the filling of certain posts. The control and ordering of the working time is not only the country and leave workers and employers, but it sets the framework of the European Union.
