Abstract: Etika in morala nista več prazen formalizem, saj trenutno stanje gospodarstva in socialne blaginje zahteva spremembe v poslovanju, kjer etika išče svoje mesto.

Title:ETHICS AND CORRUPTION IN THE EXCHANGE PROCESSES OF ORGANIZATIONS
Abstract: Ethics and morals are no longer an empty formality, since the current state of the economy and social well-being require changes in business, where ethics is looking for its place. In this thesis are presented problems of ethics and corruption faced by the organizations in exchange processes, where the numbers of deviations from an ethical business are observed in all levels of the economy. One of the worst sheers is corruption that has now become a regular business practice and shows a great need for the fight against it and the need for greater moral responsibility. Corruption is one form of unethical activity which also usually means the unlawful action and violation of fundamental principles including equality before the law. Corruption also causes a destructive impact on the economy such as reduction of the competition and investment, lower productivity etc. The analysis shows that the most corrupted people are prosecutors, lawyers and notaries and that corruption is mainly present in the business of public procurement. The public, as well as experts in this field, point to the critical state of corruption in Slovenia. This thesis also presents that the business are run on the basis of the values we possess. Ethics is a broader concept of what is good; moral however refers to the individual’s judgments of the good and is judged on the basis of one’s personal values which affect the individual's actions and decisions. In the part where dimension of ethics and ideas how to create a better and more ethical choices are presented, we can see that the world does not exist from one standard of how things should be assessed, since the dimension of ethics and morality have a broad concept; yet with the awareness and appreciation of ethics individuals and organizations could make better decisions, which would be morally more accountable.
