Title:MANAGING SUCCESSFUL PROJECTS
Abstract:Companies are generally primarily concerned with the implementation of certain works, which result in products or services. Increasingly, organizations opposed to repetitive routine tasks faced by parts of which are temporary and unique. The importance of single processes, projects, is very large in all areas of the organization. By successfully piloted projects to help achieve maximum performance, which is especially important today when we live in a period of constant competition. Quickly adapt to and manage change in today's marketplace is becoming vital. The role provides project management including ongoing evaluation of the work and find alternative paths to the same solution. Let the case of repeated actions or projects dealing with common characteristics: the work carried out by people with limited resources and we work during the planned and controlled. In this thesis I want to show management as one of the major factors influencing, motivating, encouraging and directing project teams to effectively implement the tasks and thus contribute to achieving these goals, so the aim is to work to prove the hypothesis that the success of the project is connected to the respective project management team, especially at the stage of the exercise project. In the case of introducing an electronic mail box, I will mainly focus on the project, not the parallel effects, which are also present, but no part of my study. Basic assumptions underlying the project such that the information which I received in the Post of Slovenia accurate. Restrictions on what I encountered when writing data are mostly covered by professional secrecy business so they can not be fully presented in this thesis. Master's thesis consists of five chapters. In the first chapter that follows I first identified the management and presents the various approaches to management and leadership. I presented the course in more detail in the process of managing communications; identified'm also a leader in motivating junior staff. In the second chapter, I presented the project and project management. I have presented in detail stage of the project lifecycle, with emphasis on the promotion of the project. The third chapter focuses on project management, I described the importance of a leader in recruiting members to the project team for their motivation, communication, and in management, particularly in governance, which is to work with most projects, with emphasis on personality characteristics of leaders. In the fourth chapter I described the crucial role of the Project Manager for its implementation In the fifth chapter, I show how it looks in the organization of the project through a project to introduce electronic mailbox. Mail operates in many different markets, in addition to core activities such as the transfer of shipments, payments and financial services, working with other diverse activities. With competition it faces in the marketing of those services, provided that they are generally specialized competitors for each type of service. When downloading items, he is confronted with indirect competition (phone, fax, Internet direct mail sent by companies to individuals and households for advertising purposes, ..) and direct competition, which consists of the companies involved in the transfer of various types of shipment (DHL, GLS-General Logistics System, Intereuropa/UPS Yellogisics, City Express, Door to Door, Slovenian Railways,..). In more than 22 countries already use an electronic system for delivery of items ByBox. This system has proven very effective and practical. Slovenia is striving to follow the trend and the trend of most developed countries of the European Union, while also quite successful. The system of electronic mail boxes would be successful in Slovenia as well as proved in other countries across Europe.
