Abstract:	Motivacija predstavlja ključni pomen v vsakdanjem življenju. Če nismo motivirani, težko dosežemo določen cilj. Prav tako pa si brez izobraževanja danes ne znamo več predstavljati življenja. V diplomskem delu smo predstavili motivacijo za izobraževanje v podjetju Petrol, d. d. Diplomsko delo sestavljata teoretični in raziskovalni del. V teoretičnem delu smo obravnavali opredelitev pojma motivacija, opredelitev motivov, vlogo nadrejenih v procesu motivacije, osebnostne tipe zaposlenih, motiviranje in nagrajevanje zaposlenih, motivacijske teorije in izobraževanje. V raziskovalnem delu pa smo najprej predstavili podjetje Petrol, d. d., njegovo zgodovino in splošne podatke podjetja. V omenjeni del smo vključili tudi raziskavo, izvedeno v podjetju Petrol, d. d., v kateri je bilo ugotovljeno, da med moškimi in ženskami ne obstajajo bistvene razlike glede motivacije za izobraževanje. Izkazalo se je tudi, da stopnja izobrazbe vpliva na motivacijo za izobraževanje in da imajo nadrejeni zelo velik vpliv na zaposlene. Za izobraževanje in usposabljanje so najbolj pripravljeni ekstravertirani tipi zaposlenih. Prav tako na motivacijo za izobraževanje vpliva tudi zadovoljstvo zaposlenih na delovnem mestu.

Title:	MOTIVATION FOR EDUCATION IN COMAPNY PETROL, D. D.
Abstract:	Motivation is very important in everyday life. Without motivation we can not achieve our goals. Education is also very important in our life. In thesis paper we summarized motivation for education in company Petrol, d. d. Our thesis paper has two parts. In the theoretical part we researched a concept of motivation, a concept of motives, a role of superiors in the process of motivation, personal types of employees, motivation and rewarding employees, motivational theory and education. The second part of our thesis paper contains presentation of company Petrol, d. d., its history and some basic datas. In this part we also included survey, which was made in company Petrol, d. d. We found out that there is no connection between female and male employees about motivation for education. Level of education and superiors have huge effect on employees. Type of employees who are very sociable are the most prepared for education. Satisfaction of employees also impact on motivation for education.
