Abstract:V diplomskem delu smo predstavili elektronsko bančništvo štirih tujih bank, ki poslujejo na slovenskem trgu. Izbrano temo smo izbrali zaradi aktualnosti in vse večjega povpraševanja in ponudbe elektronskega bančništva. V prvem delu so opisane glavne značilnosti, zgodovina, storitve, trendi in varnost elektronskega bančništva. Opredelili smo tudi poslovni vidik elektronskega bančništva, kjer smo ugotovili prednosti in slabosti, ki jih prinaša elektronsko bančništvo za banke in komitente. Drugi del zajema praktične primere elektronskega bančništva štirih tujih bank, ki poslujejo na slovenskem trgu. Predstavili smo sisteme elektronskega bančništva Banke Sparkasse, Unicredit Banke, Raiffeisen Banke in Hypo Alpe-Adria Banke.

Title:COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF E-BANKING OF FOREIGN BANKS IN SLOVENIA
Abstract:In the diploma work, we have presented electronic banking of four foreign banks, which are operating in the Slovenian market. We chose this theme, because of actuality and growing demand and supply of electronic banking. Electronic banking is defined as an operation between a bank and a physical or legal person, trough electronic distribution channels. The diploma work is divided into two thematic segments. In the first segment, we described main charateristics, history, services, trends and safety of electronic banking. We have defined the business case of electronic banking, where we determined advantages and disadvantages for costumers and banks. The second segment includes practical examples of electronic banking of four foreign banks, which are operating in the Slovenian market. We have introduced electronic banking systems of Sparkasse Bank, Unicredit Bank, Reiffeisen Bank and Hypo Alpe-Adria Bank. More specifically, we have described the services of each bank, what are the technical requirements for using the service, and for whom these services are intended. For long-term success and competition in the market, banks must no doubt build on electronic banking. A well-developed electronic banking system, supported by modern technology and established security standards, represents a significant competitive advantage in the market. Still there are obstacles to the expansion of electronic banking, which are shown mostly in people who lack proper knowledge and consequently do not trust the safety and modern technology. Electronic banking is used mainly by the younger generation, which means that the future development and expansion of electronic banking is not to be feared for.
