Title:GEOGRAFIJA V ŠOLI NARAVI NA PRIMERU CŠOD AJDA

Abstract:Tako kot si kemiki težko predstavljajo kemijo brez laboratorija, tako si geografi težko predstavljajo geografijo brez terenskega dela (Brinovec, 1997). Z neposrednim stikom z naravo dobijo učenci svoje lastne interpretacije, ki jih izkustveno doživljajo z vsemi čutili. S tem terensko delo in šola v naravi lahko pripomoreta k razvijanju posameznikovega aktivnega odnosa do pokrajine. V diplomskem delu smo predstavili značilnosti šole v naravi z vidika njenega nacionalnega pomena ter organiziranosti Centra šolskih in obšolskih dejavnosti (CŠOD), ki je eden izmed najpogostejših izvajalcev šole v naravi v Sloveniji. Opredelili smo pomen terenskega dela in doživljajske pedagogike pri pouku geografije. Ugotovili smo, da je ena izmed temeljnih nalog pouka geografije odkrivanje in pojasnjevanje pojavov in procesov tam, kjer nanje naletimo, in tako, kakor v naravi delujejo. Po didaktični analizi geografskega vzgojno-izobraževalnega potenciala okolice CŠOD Ajda smo izdelali primere učnih priprav za poučevanje geografije v šoli v naravi v CŠOD Ajda, kot primere izkustvenega učenja geografije v izbranem geografskem prostoru.

Title:CSOE AJDA AS AN EXAMPLE OF GEOGRAPHY IN OUTDOOR LEARNING
Abstract:As for the chemists it is hard to imagine chemistry without a laboratory, for geographers it is hard to imagine geography without field work (Brinovec, 1997). Children can interpret things in their own way if they have a possibility to get in touch with nature and experience it with all of their senses. Field work and outdoor education contribute to personal development and active relation towards landscape. In my degree paper we tried to introduce the characteristics of outdoor education regarding to national importance and organization of Centre of curricular and extra – curricular activities, which is one of the most common carriers of outdoor education in Slovenia. We defined the meaning of field work and descriptive pedagogics at geography lessons. One of the most important tasks of geography is detection and explanation of phenomena and processes in nature. With help of methodological analyses of geographical and educational potencial of CSOE Ajda we have elaborated some lesson plans for teaching geography in outdoor education in CSOE Ajda as the examples of teaching geography in selected geographical environment.
