Abstract:Usvajanje novih matematičnih konceptov, razumevanje dokazov in manj formalnih ali intuitivnih utemeljitev pri pouku matematike lahko vzpodbudimo in olajšamo tudi z uporabo primernih vizualnih prezentacij. Velikokrat so takšni prikazi dosti bolj učinkoviti in jih učenci prej razumejo kakor formalne algebraične dokaze. Za vizualne prezentacije pogosto uporabljamo geometrijske slike, zato je za njihovo razumevanje in uporabo pomembno, na kateri stopnji geometrijskega mišljenja so učenci. V diplomskem delu najprej na kratko predstavimo vlogo dokaza pri pouku matematike in teorijo stopenj geometrijskega mišljenja po zakoncih van Hiele. V osrednjem delu predstavimo primere podpore matematičnih dokazov v osnovni in srednji šoli z uporabo vizualnih prezentacij. V sklepu predstavimo še kratko analizo uporabe vizualnih prezentacij pri dokazovanjih oziroma utemeljevanjih v osnovnošolskih in srednješolskih matematičnih učbenikih.

Title:EXAMPLES OF SUPPORTING MATHEMATICAL PROOFS WITH VISUAL REPRESENTATIONS
Abstract:With the use of adequate visual presentations we can stimulate and ease learning new mathematical concepts and understanding of proofs as well as less formal or intuitive reasoning. Such presentations often show to be much more effective and pupils understand them sooner than formal algebraic proofs. We often use geometrical pictures for visual presentations and therefore it is important for their understanding and use what level of geometrical thinking pupils are on. In my diploma paper I start with a short presentation of the role of proof when learning Mathematics and the theory of levels in geometrical thinking according to van Hiele couple. In the central part I introduce some examples of mathematical proof support in the Primary and Secondary school with the use of visual presentations. I conclude with a short analysis of use of visual presentations when setting proofs in Primary and Secondary school books.
