Abstract:V nalogi smo obravnavali učinkovitost preventivne akcije spodbujanja varnostnega pasu in otroških varnostnih sedežev na spremembe v znanju o otroških varnostnih sedežev, stališča do uporabe varnostnih sistemov in samoporočanem vedenju o pogosti uporabe pri vzgojiteljicah in starših otrok, starih od 4 do 6 let.

Title:THE INFLUENCE OF MOTIVATION OF PROJECT EUCHIRES
Abstract:The main aim of the study was to evaluate the effects of the preventive action, developed to promote the use of seat belts and child restraint systems (CRS), on changing knowledge about CRS, attitudes towards the CRS use and self-reported behavior on the frequency of the CRS use in techers and parents of children aged 4 to 6 years. One of the aims was also to evaluate the relative contribution of each of the preventive measures that is lending of project Euchires. Next, the relationship between these variables was evaluated. Project work was comprised of teachers' education and of preparation of projects regarding child restraint system for children and their parents. Measurements of knowledge, attitudes and self-reported behavior were taken twice: before and after the intervention period. Result of parents show that preventive action proved effective in terms of raising knowledge, shaping more positive attitudes in terms of more frequent use of the CRS in target group children when driving on local roads in towns. Parents also gained more knowledge about the CRS during the intervention period and formed more positive attitudes towards their use.
