Abstract:V diplomski nalogi smo proučevali motivacijo in zadovoljstvo zaposlenih v zdravstveni negi v Psihiatrični kliniki Ljubljana v Enoti intenzivne psihoterapije (EIPT).

Title:MOTIVATION OF NURSES IN PSYCHIATRIC CLINIC LJUBLJANA
Abstract:In this thesis, we studied the motivation and employee satisfaction in health care in the Psychiatric Hospital Ljubljana in the Unit of Intensive Psychotherapy (UIPT). We wanted to find out which are the factors that affect employees’ motivation and job satisfaction. We researched the employees' relation toward colleagues, horizontally and vertically, their working conditions, their satisfaction with the progress and autonomy of their job, personal income, educational program, and their motivation. Using the questionnaire, which we constructed and administered to the employees in the UIPT, we confirmed all of five hypotheses. We found out that salaries are the highest motivating factor to employees, having good mutual relations in working environment is vital for motivation at work, a sense of security is very important motivating factor to employees in times of recession, and employees are in average satisfied with their direct managers. The results showed that nonfinancial motivators are more important to graduate male nurses/graduate nurses compared to nurses with secondary education. Based on results of conducted research and theoretical concepts findings on motivation are concluded at the end of the thesis. We also proposed some suggestions to improve the motivation and reward system in the Psychiatric Clinic Ljubljana in the UIPT.
