Title:Preparation of enantiomers using high pressure technologies

Abstract:The study of two different methods of obtaining chiral alcohols is proposed herein. The requirement of the relatively new paradigm of green chemistry associated with clean technologies such as biocatalysis or non-conventional solvents, dense gases, was focused at. Indeed, the two methods of production of chiral alcohols were: - the conversion of acetophenone into (R)-1-phenylethanol in dense gases catalysed by Lactobacillus brevis alcohol dehydrogenase and its coenzyme, NADP/H; - the resolution of (±)-trans-1,2-cyclohexanediol by cocrystal formation with tartaric acid followed by supercritical extraction. In both cases high enantiopurities were achieved (ee>99%).

Title:Priprava enantiomer z uporabo visokotlačnih tehnologij
Abstract:V študiji sta podani dve različni metodi za pridobivanje kiralnih alkoholov. Doktorsko delo je osredotočeno predvsem na orodja »zelene kemije«, ki so povezana s čistimi tehnologijami kot sta biokataliza ali nekonvencionalna topila in zgoščeni plini. Obe metodi za pridobivanje kiralnih alkoholov se navezujeta na: - Presnovo acetofenona v (R)-1-feniletanol v zgoščenem plinu, katalizirano z alkohol dehidrogenazo iz Lactobacillus brevis in koencimom, NADP/H; - Resolucijo (±)-trans-1,2-cikloheksandiola v obliki nastajanja kokristala s tartarno kislino in s superkritično ekstrakcijo. V obeh primerih je bil izkoristek pridobivanja enantiomerno čistih komponent zelo visok (ee>99%).
