Abstract:Diplomsko delo z naslovom Obrazna mimika v likovni umetnosti je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega in praktičnega dela. V teoretičnem delu je predstavljena simbolika obraza, pregled znanstvenega pristopa k obrazu in mimiki, preučevana je prisotnost ekspresivnih obraznih izrazov v likovni umetnosti od obdobja gotike do 19. st., s poudarkom na fenomenu Značajskih glav kiparja Franza Xaverja Messerschmidta, ki mu je posvečeno celotno poglavje. Praktični del zaobjema avtorska dela, zbrana pod imenom Nastop problematičnega človeka/Groteska vsakdanjosti (risbe in enostavne litografije), likovne analize le-teh, v katerih so opisane spremembe risbe na poti v enostavno litografijo ter obenem razlike v izrazu upodobljenega obraza, ki so posledica zamenjave tehnike.

Title:FACE MIMICS IN FINE ARTS
Abstract:The thesis work with the title Face mimics in fine arts is made of theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part the symbolism of face and the review of scientific approach to face and mimics are presented. The presence of expressive facial miens in fine arts from the period of Gothic to 19th century is discussed. The stress is on phenomena of character heads by sculptor Franz Xaver Messerschmidt; to whom the whole chapter is dedicated. The practical part consists of authorial works, assembled under the title The Appearance of Problematical Man/The Grotesque of Everyday Life, its artistic analyses in which the changes form the drawings to simple lithography as well as the changes in the mein of the presented faces, that are the consequences of a different technique, are described.
