Title:NARAVOSLOVNI KROŽEK V VRTCU PRI OSNOVNI ŠOLI SVETI TOMAŽ

Abstract:Teoretični del predstavlja naravoslovje, njegov pomen za človeka na splošno in posebej za otroka v predšolskem obdobju. Opisana je Piagetovo teorija s fazami kognitivnega razvoja, s poudarkom na predoperacionalnem obdobju. Podrobneje je predstavljen konstruktivistični didaktični model učenja, aktivno učenje otrok in reševanje problemov. Opisano in podrobneje je predstavljeno delovanje naravoslovnega krožka v vrtcu pri OŠ Sveti Tomaž, katerega mentorica je že deset let Milena Petek. V empiričnem delu je preko študije primera predstavljena konkretna dejavnost naravoslovnega krožka po konstruktivističnem modelu z otrokovo aktivno vlogo v vrtcu pri OŠ Sveti Tomaž. Preko anketiranja je bilo ugotovljeno, da je za starše zgodnje uvajanje naravoslovja v vrtec pomembno, saj vpliva na celosten razvoj otroka in na nadaljnje izobraževanje otrok. Strokovne delavke vrtca poznajo konstruktivistični didaktični model učenja in ga delno uporabljajo v vsakdanji praksi, obstaja pa tudi vrsta problemov, ki se ob načrtovanju in izvedbi tega modela porajajo v praksi.

Title:SCIENCE CLUB IN KINDERGARTEN IN PRIMARY SCHOOL SVETI TOMAŽ
Abstract:The theoretical part presents science, its importance for humans in general and especially for a child in preschool period. Piaget’s theory is described by the stages of cognitive development, with emphasis on the preoperational period. There is presented in detail the constructivist didactic model of learning, active learning of children and problem solving. There is also described and presented in detail the functioning of the science club in kindergarten at Primary School Sveti Tomaž, of which the mentor has already been for 10 years Mrs. Milena Petek. In the empirical part there is presented through case studies the specific activity of the science club in kindergarten at Primary School Sveti Tomaž, under the constructivist model with the child’s active role. Through the survey it was found, that the early introduction of science in kindergarten is very important for parents, because it affects the overall development of the child and the further education of children. Professional workers of kindergarten are familiar with the constructivist didactic model of learning, and they are partly using it in daily practice. But there is a series of problems that arise in practise when planning and implementing this model.
