Title:VLOGA ŠOLSKE SVETOVALNE SLUŽBE PRI DELU Z NADARJENIMI UČENCI

Abstract:Pravica vsakega otroka je, da napreduje tako hitro in tako daleč, kot le zmore, da uresniči svoje želje, potrebe in interese. Da je otroku omogočen celostni razvoj, je potrebno sodelovanje vseh udeležencev vzgojno-izobraževalnega procesa. V diplomskem delu smo raziskovali delo z nadarjenimi učenci v osnovni šoli. V nalogi smo posebej izpostavili vlogo šolske svetovalne službe pri delu z nadarjenimi. Hkrati smo posebno pozornost namenili tudi svetovanju nadarjenim otrokom in njihovim težavam. Predstavili smo celoten proces odkrivanja nadarjenih učencev in posamezne stopnje tudi opredelili. V empiričnem delu diplomske naloge smo raziskovali osnovna dejstva, povezana z delom z nadarjenimi učenci na osnovnih šolah, ter dejstva v povezavi s sodelovanjem šolskih svetovalnih delavcev z učitelji, vodstvom in starši nadarjenih otrok. Ob tem smo ugotavljali še potek dela šolskih svetovalnih delavcev z nadarjenimi. Na osnovi raziskanega smo ugotovili, da je sodelovanje z naštetimi ocenjeno kot dobro. Kot možne ovire pri delu z nadarjenimi pa so šolski svetovalni delavci navajali pomanjkanje časa; le malo svetovalnih delavcev namreč meni, da posveti dovolj časa in pomoči nadarjenim učencem.

Title:THE ROLE OF THE COUNSELING SERVICE IN WORKING WITH GIFTED PUPILS
Abstract:It is every child's right to progress as fast and far as they can, to realize their desires, needs and interests. To enable a child an integrated development, the collaboration among all of the participants in education process is necessary. In the diploma paper we researched the work with gifted students in primary school. We specifically highlighted the role of school counseling services in working with the gifted. Simultaneously, we focused our attention on counseling gifted children and their problems. We presented the complete process of detecting gifted students and defined individual stages. In the empirical part of the diploma paper we examined the basic facts connected with working with gifted students in primary school and the facts connected with collaboration between school counselors, teachers, administration and the parents of the gifted children. We also examined the workflow of school counselors with the gifted. On the basis of the research we established that the collaboration among the listed is estimated as good. As possible obstacles to working with the gifted the school counselors mentioned a lack of time; only a few school counselors think that they dedicate enough time and support to the gifted students.
