Abstract:V diplomskem delu je predstavljena primerjava med tehnologijama brizganja plastičnih mas in selektivnega laserskega sintranja za izdelavo malo serijskih izdelkov. Za obe tehnologiji so opisani vsi procesi, ki so potrebni za nastanek končnega produkta. Na podlagi tega je izvedena časovna analiza in stroškovna kalkulacija proizvodnje plastičnih izdelkov. Primerjava obeh postopkov iz časovnega in ekonomskega vidika prikazuje mejo ustreznosti izdelovalnega postopka glede na velikost serije, izbranega primera izdelka. Rezultat študije prikazuje, da primernost selektivnega laserskega sintranja narašča s kompleksnostjo izdelka in pada z večanjem števila izdelkov v seriji.

Title:COMPARISON OF SELECTIVE LASER SINTERING AND INJECTION MOULDING TECHNOLOGIES FOR END-USER PART PRODUCTION
Abstract:The thesis shows a comparison between injection molding and selective laser sintering technologies for the production of small batch products. Described are both technologies as well as all processes needed to create the final product. Based on those processes time and cost analysis for production of plastic parts is performed. Comparison between two technologies is presented, showing the efficiency of each manufacturing process, regarding the series size of the selected product sample. The study shows that the time-cost efficiency of the selective laser sintering technology increases with the complexity of the product and decreases with the increasing series size.
