Abstract:Leta 2009 smo odvzeli vzorce štirih sort jagod 'St.Pier', 'Elsanta', 'Sugar Lie' in 'Thuchampion' z namenom primerjati vsebnosti K, P, Mg, Fe, Mn, Cu in Zn v jagodah, pridelanih na ekološki in integriran način.

Title:A comparison of metal concentration in different varieties of strawberries grown according to organic and integrated production techniques.
Abstract:In 2009 we took samples of four strawberry varieties, i.e. 'St.Pier', 'Elsanta', 'Sugar Lie' and 'Thuchampion' with the aim to compare the contents of K, P, Mg, Fe, Mn, Cu and Zn in strawberries grown according to integrated and organic production techniques. After extracting soil samples and microwave digestion of strawberries, the concentrations of metals were determined by spectroscopic techniques. All varieties of non-organically grown strawberries contained higher levels of K, P and Mg. The Cu content was higher in organically produced 'Thuchampion' variety. The Mn and Fe concentrations were higher in all varieties in integrated production. Soil samples from integrated production contained higher levels of Zn, K and P, probably due to N-P-K fertilizers, while soil samples from organic production contained higher levels of Cu, Mn, Mg and Fe. According to production techniques, there were statistically significant differences in all varieties, while according to varieties we observed statistically significant differences in the contents of all metals, except for Zn.
