Title:Dejavniki psihološkega nasilja na delovnem mestu

Abstract:Raziskave na področju delovnih razmer kažejo, da je danes pereč problem ravno psihološko nasilje na delovnem mestu. Posebna oblika psihološkega nasilja na delovnem mestu je mobing, s katerim se v praksi srečujemo vsak dan, vendar se ga pogosto ne zavedamo. Namen magistrske naloge je pojasniti pojem in pomen mobinga v delovnih organizacijah, poiskati možne vzroke in posledice, ki vplivajo na ta pojav, ter predlagati rešitve. Poznavanje mehanizmov, ki povzročajo mobing, njegovih vzrokov in posledic je izrednega pomena za reševanje z njim povezanih težav in za nadaljnjo preventivo. Naloga je razdeljena na teoretični in empirični del. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili pojem mobinga, poiskali možne vzroke njegovega pojava in z njim povezane posledice za posameznika, sodelavce, organizacijo in družbo. V tem delu je tudi predstavljen način preprečevanja mobinga na delovnem mestu. Opisani so preventivni ukrepi, ki jih lahko uvede organizacija, država in tudi vsak posameznik. S poznavanjem tovrstnih mehanizmov oziroma s preventivnimi pristopi k reševanju problema mobinga lahko zmanjšamo stroške, ki nastanejo zaradi bolniških odsotnosti in odškodnin ter povečamo učinkovitost in uspešnost organizacije. V empiričnem delu naloge je predstavljena raziskava, opravljena na vzorcu 305 anketiranih, s pomočjo katere smo ugotavljali, kako stil vodenja, način komuniciranja, zaznavanje stresa in zadovoljstvo pri delu vplivajo na zaznavanje mobing dejanj v organizaciji. Z raziskavo smo prav tako ugotavljali, ali obstajajo razlike pri zaznavanju mobing dejanj med spoloma in kako vpliva hierarhični položaj na zaznavanje tovrstnih dejanj v organizaciji. Dobljeni rezultati kažejo, da so mobing dejanja prisotna na vseh ravneh organizacije, tako med moškimi kot tudi med ženskami. Vzroki so različni: od neustreznega vodenja, nekakovostne komunikacije, prisotnosti stresa na delovnem mestu in nezadovoljstva zaposlenih. Vse to vpliva na pojav mobing dejanj med zaposlenimi. Povzročitelji so lahko nadrejeni, sodelavci in stranke. Za preprečevanje tovrstnih dejanj na delovnem mestu bodo organizacije morale še veliko postoriti, saj se nekatere še vedno ne zavedajo oziroma premalo zavedajo pomembnosti prepoznavanja negativnih dejanj, predvsem pa povzročenih posledic, ki se ne ustavijo pri žrtvi, temveč se razširijo na celotno organizacijo.

Title:Psychological factors of violence in the workplace
Abstract:Research on working conditions shows that psychological violence at work is one of the biggest problems today. One particular form of psychological violence in the workplace is mobbing, which in practice we can encounter every day, but often are not aware of it. The purpose of this masters thesis is to clarify the concept and emphasise the importance of the effects of mobbing in the workplace, to find the causes of its occurrence, to show the consequences and of course to suggest solutions. Acknowledging the causes and consequences is of special importance for solving the problems related to mobbing and also for further identification of prevention measures. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. In the theoretical part the concept of mobbing, the causes of its occurrence and related consequences that influence the individual, co-workers, organization and society are presented. Also in this part, ways to prevent mobbing in the workplace are presented, describing preventive measures that may be incorporated by the state, at the company level and by every individual. Adoption of these mechanisms or preventive approaches can reduce the costs that emerge due to sick leave and compensations and thus increase the efficiency and success of an organisation. In the empirical part of the thesis, the research work on a sample of 305 respondents is presented. Here we asses how leadership styles, communication, perception of stress and job satisfaction affect the perception of mobbing within the organization or the workplace. We also examine whether there are differences in the perception of mobbing acts based on gender and hierarchical position. Statistics show that mobbing is present at all levels of an organization, both among men and women. The reasons are varied: inadequate leadership, inefficient communication, stress at the workplace and dissatisfaction of employees. All this affects occurrence .The perpetuators of mobbing activities can be found among leading workers, co-workers and clients. To prevent such abuse in the workplace, organizations will have to do much, since some organization are still insufficiently aware of the importance of identifying the aggressive behaviour the consequences of which do not stop with the victim, but are extended to the entire organization.
