Title:ANALIZA POSLOVNEGA OKOLJA PODJETJA TALUM D.D.

Abstract:Gospodarske, podjetniške ter konkurenčne spremembe in pritiski so le nekateri dejavniki, ki v današnjih časih pogosto zaznamujejo usodo številnih podjetij ter posledično povzročijo propad mnogih še tako uspešnih podjetij. Da pa bi podjetja uspešno preživela ali celo izkoristila nekatere spremembe in pritiske, ki nastajajo na primer v času globalne gospodarske krize, so primorana sproti opazovati, ocenjevati in analizirati dogajanja v svojem poslovnem okolju. Analiza poslovnega okolja je namreč prvi korak v procesu strateškega menedžmenta, ki ga mora podjetje opraviti, če želi postaviti dolgotrajne in uspešne strateške cilje. In prav tega sem se tudi sam lotil pri pisanju svojega diplomskega seminarja, ter v njem poskušal kar se da uspešno oceniti in analizirati poslovno okolje za podjetje Talum, d. d., iz Kidričevega. Na podlagi zgodovinske oziroma historične metode, ki vsebuje pojave, ki so v preteklosti ključno vplivali na poslovanje podjetja Talum d.d., ter s pomočjo nekaterih v praksi uveljavljenih modelov in analiz (PEST-analiza, PESTEL-analiza, Porterjev model konkurence v panogi, analiza finančnih kazalcev ter SWOT-analiza) za analiziranje poslovnega okolja podjetja pa sem na koncu diplomskega seminarja izpostavil za podjetje Talum, d. d., ključne prednosti in slabosti ter priložnosti in nevarnosti, ki izhajajo iz njegovega poslovnega okolja, ter hkrati zaposlenim v upravi podjetja ponudil vprašanja za strateški razmislek. Med samim analiziranjem poslovnega okolja podjetja Talum, d. d., sem ugotovil, da lahko svoje na začetku zastavljene teze z gotovostjo potrdim. Modeli in analize, ki sem jih opravil za podjetje, namreč kažejo, da ima podjetje Talum, d. d., zagotovo določene prednosti ter priložnosti, ki jih lahko izkoristi v svoj prid. Prednosti, ki jih lahko podjetje izkoristi so, dolgoletne izkušnje in znanje v tovrstni panogi, možnost vlaganja v nove tehnologije, proizvodni proces, skoncentriran na enem mestu, ugoden geografski položaj podjetja za izvoz, zagotavljanje finančne pomoči podjetju s strani države, odlična organiziranost in vodenje podjetja ter številne druge. Kot priložnosti za podjetje pa lahko izpostavim možnost širjenja dejavnosti na področja, ki niso povezana s proizvodnjo primarnega aluminija, zapiranje nekaterih tujih podjetij iz iste panoge, ugodna lega za izgradnjo lastne sončne in vetrne elektrarne, sofinanciranje EU v obliki nepovratnih sredstev za ekološke projekte (izgradnja sežigalnice) ter možnost nakupa emisijskih kuponov na borzi.

Title:ANALYSIS BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT OF THE COMPANY TALUM D.D.
Abstract:Economic, enterpreneurial, competitive changes and pressures are some of the factors in todey`s times which often mark the fate of many companies and cause the collapse of many succeessful companies. For a company to successfully survive or benefit from some changes and pressures that arise, it should constantly observe, evaluate and analyze the developments in its business environment. The business environment analysis is the first step in the process of strategic management, which a company must perform if it wishes to set up successful strategic objectives. This is exactly what I have decided to write in my thesis and have tried to successfully estimate and analyze the business environment for the company Talum, d. d., (joint stock company) from Kidričevo, therefore On the grounds of historical methods, which include events from the past, which affect the business of the company Talum, d. d., and using some of the established models of practice and analysis (PEST analysis, PEST EL analysis, Porter's model of competition in the industry, analysis of financial indicators and SWOT analysis). At the end of the thesis I analyzed the business environment of the company as regards to strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats arising from its business environment, and offered employees strategic issues for consideration. I can certainly confirm my thesis after having analized the business environment of the company Talum, d. d. The models and analysis that I have completed, for the company, show that Talum, d. d., has certain advantages and opportunities that can be exploited on their behalf. The advantages that the company may benefit from are long term experiences and expertise in such an industry, the possibility of financing new technology, production process set up in one place, a favorable geographical position for export, financial assistance from the government, excellent organisational and managerial skills within the company and many others. The possibility of expanding the business, can be exposed in areas not related to the production of primary aluminum, the closing of some foreign companies in the same branch, advantageous location to build ones own solar and wind power station, the EU co-financing in the form of grants for environmental projects (building incinerators), and an option to purchase allowances on the stock exchange.
