Title:PWM KRMILJENJE MOTORJEV Z FPGA RAZVOJNO PLOŠČO NANOBOARD 3000XN

Abstract:Diplomsko delo opisuje vgrajeno nacrtovanje FPGA sistemov z razvojno plošco NanoBoard 3000XN. Jedro sistema je FPGA cip družine Xilinx Spartan 3AN XC3S1400AN. Nacrtovanje sistema je izvedeno na visoki abstraktni ravni z uporabo razvojnega orodja Altium Designer Summer 09. Na zacetku je predstavljena splošna razdelitev programirljivih vezij, med katere spada tudi FPGA vezje. Sledi opis in predstavitev uporabljene razvojne plošce, na kateri je izveden sistem. Jedro opisuje zasnovo in realizacijo FPGA sistema za krmiljenje enosmernih motorjev preko serijske povezave RS232. Glavni namen modula je pošiljanje podatkov preko serijske povezave na mikroprocesor, kjer se podatki obdelajo in ustrezno krmilijo PWM izhod, ter izhodne releje. Cilj diplomske naloge je bil, da s pridobljenim znanjem prikažemo postopek nacrtovanja FPGA vgrajenih sistemov z razvojno plošco NanoBoard 3000XN in orodjem za nacrtovanje. Tako smo preslikali del do sedaj zasnovanega vezja nadzornega robota AIPCT v FPGA vezje in pustili možnost za nadaljnji razvoj.

Title:PWM CONTROL OF ELECTRICAL MOTORS WITH FPGA PROTOBOARD NANOBOARD 3000XN
Abstract:Study describes FPGA systems integrated planning with the development board NanoBoard 3000XN. The core of NanoBoard 3000XN is the FPGA chip Xilinx Spartan 3AN XC3S1400AN. System planning is realized on high abstract level, using a development tool Altium Designer Summer 09. At the beginning of this diploma the general definition of programmable logic, which also include FPGA devices, is presented it is followed by a description and presentation of development boards on which the system is implemented. The core of this diploma work describes the design and implementation of FPGA based system for controlling DC motors via the serial communication. Main purpose of the module, is transmission of data over serial link to the microprocessor, where data are processed for relays and PWM output control. The purpose of this diploma work was to master and to demonstrate the embedded systems design process with the development board NanoBoard 3000XN.
