Abstract:Diplomska naloga predstavlja numerični izračun toka v vstopnem delu Peltonove dvo-šobne turbine. Analiza je bila narejena s programskim paketom Ansys CFX-12.1 za tri različna odprtja šobe in različne gostote mrež. Namen izračuna je bil določitev debeline, hitrosti in kvalitete curka na vstopu v gonilnik. V nalogi je podrobno obravnavan vpliv gostote računskih mrež na rezultate.

Title:NUMERICAL CALCULATION OF THE FLOW IN THE INLET PART OF PELTON TURBINE
Abstract:This diploma thesis presents the numerical calculation of the flow in the inlet part of a two jet Pelton turbine. The calculation was performed by Ansys CFX-12.1 computer code for three openings and different grid density. The purpose of the analysis was to determine the thickness, velocity and the quality of the jet at the runner inlet. A detailed analysis of an influence of grid density on results is also presented in the thesis.
