Title:VPLIV IZBIRE POSTOPKA IZRAČUNA NIHAJNEGA ČASA NA VELIKOST POTRESNEGA VPLIVA

Abstract:Zaradi zagotovitve potresne varnosti vsake konstrukcije je potrebno določiti njene maksimalne obremenitve v skladu s predpisom. Bistvo diplomskega dela je tako potresna analiza dvoetažne jeklene konstrukcije z določitvijo velikosti potresnega vpliva glede na izbiro postopka za izračun prvega nihajnega časa konstrukcije. Konstrukcijska parametra, ki preko prvega nihajnega časa najbolj neposredno vplivata na velikost potresnega vpliva, sta masa in togost konstrukcije in zato smo se v diplomskem delu orientirali v opazovanje vpliva modeliranja mase in togosti konstrukcije na velikost in porazdelitev potresnega vpliva. Rezultati računskih analiz so pokazali, da vrednosti opazno variirajo z izbiro postopka nihajnega časa.

Title:THE SELECTION OF FIRST PERIOD CALCULATION METHOD AND ITS INFLUENCE ON THE MAGNITUDE OF THE EARTHQUAKE EFFECT
Abstract:In order to ensure seismic safety of a structure it is necessary to adequately model the seismic effects on the structure in accordance with the regulations. The essence of the thesis is thus a seismic analysis of two-storey steel structure with the focus on the selection of procedure for the calculation of the structure’s first period and its influence on the magnitude of seismic impact. The mass and rigidness of the structure are certainly the most significant structural parameters that directly govern the value of the first period. Therefore, the thesis observes the impact of structure’s mass and rigidness modeling on the size of the seismic force and its distribution. The results of completed numerical analysis showed that the seismic forces vary noticeably regarding the selected method for the evaluation of the first period.
