Title:WEB AS A TOOL FOR POLITICAL PARTICIPATION
Abstract:The thesis shows the evolution of the Internet in the world and Slovenia and his transition from the functions of integration of research networks in the service of participatory tools that allows citizens involvement in decision-making processes. The thesis focuses on new forms of e-democracy and how it is woven into society at grassroots level. In the analysis of a single paper we focus on Web pages of Slovenian political parties that have their place in the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia and how the political parties themselves have an impact on the greater participation of citizens by offering a variety of e-participation tools with which citizens can be more easily integrated into decision-making processes at the national level.
Keywords:political parties, e-participation, e-democracy, Internet.
