Abstract:V diplomski nalogi je opisan razvoj brezžičnega komunikacijskega okolja za Robosapien. Ta razvoj zajema analizo obstoječe strojne opreme in načrtovanje nove ter primerjavo in uporabo različnih brezžičnih tehnologij za prenos podatkov. Za uporabo brezžičnih komunikacijskih omrežij smo analizirali različne vgrajene sisteme, ki omogočajo uporabo brezžičnih tehnologij WLAN 802.11 in Bluetooth v1.1 ter omogočajo razvoj lastne programske opreme. Razvojno okolje nam nudi dostop do strojne opreme, tako lahko krmilimo elektromotorje in zaznavamo informacije od senzorjev ter ima možnosti za oddaljeno nadgradnjo programske opreme.

Title:WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT FOR ROBOT ROBOSAPIEN
Abstract:The work describes development of wireless communication environment for Robosapien. The development includes analysis of existing hardware and designing a new one. It also includes comparison and use of wireless technologies for data transmission. We used embedded system for wireless communication and software development. From set of wireless communication networks we selected WLAN 802.11 and Bluetooth v1.1. The development environment offers access to hardware layer so we can control electro motors and acquire information from sensors and has possibilities for remote software upgrades.
