Abstract:Sodobni management se sooča s številnimi izzivi, ki kličejo po drugačnem načinu vodenja. V novem okolju številna podjetja zasledujejo koncept učeče se organizacije. Taka podjetja so sposobna hitreje najti priložnosti in se spopadati s krizami. Najpomembnejša funkcija vodje v učeči se organizaciji je organizacijo naučiti oblikovanja skupne vizije. Poudarek je na opolnomočenju zaposlenih, komuniciranju in na informacijah. Pri timskem delu vsak zaposleni prispeva k uspehu, delovno mesto postane mesto za ustvarjanje. Zato se je učeča organizacija sposobna neprestano učiti, je odprta za okolje in ima željo po povečevanju sposobnosti učenja. Ker se organizacije spopadajo z naraščanjem globalne konkurence, je pomembno, da organizacija doseže in ohrani poslovno odličnost. Odlične organizacije usmerjajo kupci, hitro se odzovejo na probleme, informacije so dostopne vsem in se izmenjujejo v vseh smereh. Take organizacije rajši vodijo kot sledijo. Uspešnost in učinkovitost organizacije lahko zagotovi le inovativno vodenje, ki ima značaj visoko kreativnega in inovativnega dela. Podjetništvo je trenutno najbolj uspešna metoda za zapolnjevanje vrzeli med znanostjo in trgom, za ustanavljanje novih podjetij in uvajanje novih izdelkov in storitev za trg. Podjetniške dejavnosti vplivajo na gospodarstvo nekega območja, saj zagotavljajo delovna mesta. Uspešen podjetnik mora imeti značilnosti, ki prispevajo k uspešnosti podjetja. Za uspešno poslovanje podjetja so potrebni še: poslovna priložnost, sposobnost upravljanja, zadostni kapital in sodobne metode poslovanja. Značilnost sodobnih organizacij je v njihovi poslovnosti in ustvarjalnosti. Produkt ustvarjalnosti so inovacije, ki jih lahko uresničujemo tudi preko podjetništva. Poslovnost podjetja je njegova usmerjenost v posel, od katerega imata korist oba partnerja, prodajalec in kupec. Brez poslovnosti ni uspešnosti. V času recesije je pomembno, da podjetje ohrani konkurenčnost izdelkov. V diplomski nalogi predstavljam podjetnika Jožeta Barboriča, ki se ukvarja z izdelavo in prodajo izdelkov domače in umetnostne obrti. Cilj podjetja je ohranjanje kulturne dediščine na Dolenjskem. Na trgu ponuja kvalitetne, unikatne izdelke, ki so vezani na kulturno preteklost Dolenjske. To so replike arheoloških in etnoloških predmetov, ljudska glasbila, izdelke iz volne. Z njimi zapolnjuje vrzel v ponudbi kakovostnih spominkov Novega mesta in poslovnih daril. Izdelki so se na trgu dobro »prijeli«, podjetnik povečuje prodajni program in razširja prodajno mrežo. Pri delu je inovativen, prilagodljiv, natančen, komunikativen. Udeležuje se razstav, sejmov, tržnic, a bo še moral delati na promociji izdelkov in podjetja. Predvsem pa se mora zavedati majhnosti slovenskega trga in razmišljati o vstopu na tuje trge. Zanimanja za to dejavnost je majhno in še naprej upada, kljub vzpodbujanju države za samozaposlitev v tej dejavnosti. Zato je pohvalno, da si podjetnik prizadeva skozi dejavnost domače in umetnostne obrti ohranjati kulturno dediščino naroda.

Title:ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND MANAGEMENT
Abstract:Modern management is facing numerous challenges, which are dictating a demand for a new kind of management. In this new environment many companies are adopting the concept of a “learning organisation”. These companies are able to detect opportunities and deal with crises faster. The most important function of the management of a learning organisation is to teach the organisation how to form a shared vision. The emphasis is on empowering employees, communication and information. In teamwork, each employee is a part of the success, and a job becomes a place of creativity. This makes a learning organisation capable of continuous education and open to its environment, and it has the desire to increase its learning capacity. Since organisations are facing increasing global competition, it is important that organisations achieve and maintain business excellence. Excellent organisations are guided by their customers, react quickly to problems, information is accessible to everyone and is exchanged in all directions. Such organisations prefer to lead rather than follow. The success and efficiency of an organisation can only be achieved through innovative management characterised by highly creative and innovative work. Entrepreneurship is currently the most successful method of filling the gaps between knowledge and markets, for establishing new enterprises and for introducing new products and services onto the market. Entrepreneurial activities affect the economy of a certain area by creating jobs. A successful entrepreneur must have qualities that contribute to the success of the company. Successful company operations also require: business opportunities, management ability, sufficient capital and modern operating methods. Entrepreneurship and creativity are characteristic of modern organisations. Creativity produces innovations, which can be implemented through entrepreneurship. A company’s entrepreneurship is defined by its orientation towards business that is beneficial to both the seller and the buyer. There can be no success without entrepreneurship. In times of recession it is important for companies to maintain the competitiveness of their products. In my diploma thesis I present the entrepreneur Jože Barborič, who produces and sells handicrafts. The company’s objective is to preserve the cultural heritage of the Dolenjska region. It sells unique high-quality products which are connected to Dolenjska’s cultural history. They include replicas of archaeological and ethnological artefacts, folk instruments, and woollen products. They fill a niche in the range of high-quality souvenirs of Novo mesto and corporate gifts. The products have been well-received on the market, the producer is increasing his sales range and expanding his sales network. He is innovative, flexible, precise and communicative. He takes part in exhibitions, trade fairs and marketplaces, but he will have to do more work on promoting his products and his company. In particular he has to be aware of the small size of the Slovenian market and think about expanding to foreign markets. Interest in this work is small and is continuing to fall despite state support for self-employment in this field. Therefore it is commendable that this entrepreneur is attempting to preserve the nation’s cultural heritage through producing handicrafts.
