Abstract:Diplomska naloga z naslovom Sistemi spletnega trgovanja na primerih GBD On-Line in E*TRADE Website, je razdeljena na pet poglavij in sklep. V uvodnem delu je opredeljena problematika diplomskega dela, njeni cilji, omejitve in predvidene metode dela.

Title:ONLINE TRADING SYSTEMS IN CASES OF GBD ON-LINE AND E*TRADE WEBSITE
Abstract:My thesis with the title Online trading systems in cases of GBD On-Line and E*TRADE Website is divided into five chapters and a conclusion. The introduction identifies the main issues, its objectives, constraints and anticipated methods of work.

The second part defines online trading systems. It begins with the history of the stock market and covers the period from the very beginnings of stocks in the Ancient Greece to the electronic stock exchange in Slovenia. This part also explains online brokerage in Slovenia and abroad as well as online stock trade in comparison with the classic stock exchange.

The central part of the thesis is a comprehensive survey of two online trading systems, a domestic and foreign one. Both companies that own these systems are presented together with their business and relations to their competitors. Both cases offer descriptions of the security that a broker offers to users and technical specifications that are necessary for normal trading or investing. The survey also includes handling and the usefulness of both trading platforms. It offers a detailed fundamental and technical analysis both trading systems can offer. The subchapter Legislation contains a snapshot of the current legislation, guidance and advice to the traders and investors concerning tax. Concerning the legislation of the online trading system E*TRADE Website, a method is presented that allows the user to legally circumvent 40% of income tax and the possibility of displaying a negative tax towards the tax authority. Support offered by online brokers is presented and in line with this also their price list.

The last part of the thesis includes a comparison of the two online trading systems and a conclusion. Both systems are valued and assessed according to costs, technical service and user friendliness. The thesis offers guidelines for the domestic service and in the conclusions also some recommendations for beginners in the stock markets.
