Title:IZKUSTVENO UČENJE (NARAVOSLOVNI POSKUSI) PREDŠOLSKIH OTROK OB MORSKI OBALI

Abstract:Namen diplomske naloge je opredeliti izkustveno učenje in vlogo naravoslovnega poskusa v predšolskem obdobju ter predstaviti možnosti in praktične primere izvajanja dejavnosti v naravnem okolju — ob morju. Temelji naloge so bili usmerjeni v pridobivanje otrokovih novih izkušenj in znanj oziroma v preverjanje prvotnih zamisli otrok in postavitve naravoslovnega poskusa kot temelja, ki pomaga otroku lastno zamisel potrditi in nadgraditi ali jo spremeniti in razumeti. Tako je bila otrokom dana možnost, da pred oziroma ob izvajanju naravoslovnih poskusov oblikujejo lastna vprašanja, zamisli in ideje ter s tem iščejo nove možnosti, razmišljajo in se ukvarjajo z rešitvijo problema. Ob končanih dejavnostih nas je zanimal tudi prenos pridobljenega znanja in izkušenj na vrstnike ter ostale udeležene otroke na letovanju. Podatki so pridobljeni z opazovanjem 16 otrok, starih od 5 do 6 let. Rezultati so predstavljeni tabelarično.

Title:EXPERIMENTAL LEARNING (NATURAL SCIENTIFIC EXPERIMENTS) OF PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN BY THE SEA COAST
Abstract:The object of the diploma thesis is to define experiential learning and the role of science experiment in the preschool period, and to introduce possibilities and practical examples of execution of the activity in natural environment – by the sea. The bases of the thesis were directed into generation of child's new experience and knowledge or testing children's primary ideas and placement of science experiment as a basis that helps the child to confirm and upgrade his personal idea or to change and understand it. That way, the children were given a chance where they could form their personal questions and ideas before or through performing science experiments. They could search for new possibilities, think about and deal with the solution of the problem. Beside finished activities, we were also interested in transmission of the gained knowledge and experience to their peers and other children participating in the holidaying. The data was extracted through observation of 16 children, aged 5 to 6. The results are presented tabularly.
