Abstract:Da se soočimo s krizo, moramo dobro poznati za kakšno krizo gre, kaj so simptomi in kaj vzroki. Velik pomen kriznega managementa imajo aktivnosti preprečevanja krize. To so aktivnosti, ki zajemajo oblikovanje krizne skupine, analize stanja podjetja in nagnjenosti h krizi ter druge akcije. V času krize je pomembna klima, ki vlada v podjetju. Le-ta je lahko negativno nastrojena, kar reševanje le še otežuje, ali pa je ravno obratno, zaradi česar imajo tako management kot tudi zaposleni v podjetju še en razlog več, da se zavzamejo za čim hitrejše in čim bolj učinkovito doseganje cilja, s čimer mislimo izhod podjetja iz krize. Krizna skupina mora v času krize hitro in učinkovito sprejemati odločitve. Potreba po informacijah drastično naraste, vendar potrebujemo samo koristne informacije. Nujno je, da tok informacij centraliziramo, kar pomeni, da vhodne in izhodne informacije obdeluje ena oseba ali majhna skupina ljudi. Prepogosto se tudi zgodi, da podjetje zabrede tako globoko, da ni druge rešitve kot stečaj podjetja. Vendarle pa so še drugi možni izhodi iz krize. Dolgoročni in zahtevni, a uspešni strategiji sta reinženiring in, najbolj zahtevna, spreminjanje kulture podjetja. Veliko vlogo v času krize odigrajo mediji in odnosi z javnostmi. Že v pripravah na krizo moramo dobro opredeliti, kdo bo odgovoren za stike z javnostmi. Ko se podjetje reši krize, še to ne pomeni, da lahko zdaj »zaspi« in posluje dalje na lovorikah, ampak mora dodobra analizirati situacijo, v kateri se je nahajalo.

Title:THE ROLE OF CRISIS MANAGEMENT
Abstract:To be able to face a crisis we have to identify the type, symptoms and causes of the crisis. Activities that prevent a crisis, i.e. activities that include forming a crisis group, analyzing the state of a company and its predisposition to crisis, are a big part of crisis management. The atmosphere within the company during times of crisis is essential. If it is negatively charged it only hinders crisis recovery. A positively charged environment would on the other hand advance it, giving the management and the employees more reason to commit to faster and more efficient, problem solving, i.e. solving the crisis. In times of crisis a crisis group has to make decisions quickly and efficiently. The need for information arises drastically, but you only need valuable information. The flow of information has to be centralized, meaning ingoing and outgoing information has to be processed by one person or a small group of individuals. It occurs too often that a company treads so deep that there is no other option but bankruptcy. However, there are other ways out of crisis. Reengineering and most challenging, the changing of the culture of a company, are long term and demanding, but successful strategies. The media and public relations play a big role in times of crisis, that's why it is important to determine who will be responsible for public relations in the preparations for a crisis. When a company solves a crisis, that does not mean it can rest and continue business leaning on its laurels, it has to extensively analyze the situation it has found itself in.
