Title:BARVA, RISBA IN KONTEKST FORMATA

Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava fenomen barve in vlogo risbe v kontekstu formata. Na podlagi teoretične vsebine diplomskega dela bo izvedena empirična rešitev konkretnega likovnega problema - v obliki konkretnih likovnih materializacij. Tako zastavljen koncept vključuje tudi razstavo slikarskih kompozicij, z namenom postaviti opazovalca v kontekst problematike, povezane s subjektivnim dojemanjem barve. Vsebina torej zajema tudi določitve metodologije praktične izvedbe slik lastnega likovnega projekta. Teoretična vsebina s konceptualno zasnovo projekta je namenjena opredelitvi likovnega problema upodobitve dematerializiranega stanja temeljne ploskve in do opredelitve neposrednega delovanja med barvo, risbo in formatom. Prav tako ta del vsebine raziskuje neposredne povezave med dematerializiranim stanjem, subjektivnim dojemanjem barve in razumevanjem simbolnih dimenzij, ki so imanentne sliki. Empirični cikel slik, ki je bil realiziran v okviru diplomskega dela, nudi kritični vpogled v konkretno rešitev likovnega problema dematerializiranega stanja slike. Na podlagi študija literature in praktičnih spoznanj sem z lastnim projektom deloval v smeri dematerializacije slikarske podobe in argumentirano sledil določitvi zveze in delovanja med barvo, risbo in formatom.

Title:COLOUR, DRAWING AND CONTEXT OF FORMAT
Abstract:This essay is about the phenomenon of colour and the role of drawing in the context of a format. The paper represents theoretical ground issue, from which the later empirical solution of artistic problem will arise – in the form of substantial artistic materialization. This theoretical framework contains also an exhibition of artistic compositions in order to include the observer into the artistic context and herewith arise well known problems of subjective perception of colours. The paper is also discussing the methodological definitions for practical realization for my own artistic work. Theoretical contents together with conceptual lining of this project is serving the purpose defining at one hand the artistic problem of creation of dematerialized condition of basic surface, and on the other the interaction of colour, drawing and format (shape). This part of the paper takes a closer look of direct connection between dematerialized state, subjective colour perception and understanding of symbolic dimensions, immanent to the painting. Empirical cycle of paintings, realized within this paper, represents a critical view of actual solution to the problem concerning dematerialized condition of a painting. Following the idea of dematerialization of artistic images and getting practical experience during my project I tried to define relations and effects between colour, drawing and format.
